Gottem

Alicia reached a pitch so high that my dog started barking. In his sleep. He started barking in his sleep. The magic of Hellsing Abridged!

What if, hear me out: Mortal Kombat Alucard is voiced by Crispin, but in an Alucard mirror match the SECOND Alucard is Taka.

I love that Taka literally gets a cold drink, cracks it open, and waits for people to see "that" scene in Episode 6 specifically.

Hey guys, is something wrong with the video? I can’t hear any audio after 55:56 . In fact, I can’t hear anything. And my phone screen is cracked. And so are my glasses. Must be some weird glitch.

The way that Takahata can list off the voice actors and has so many stories about the production process really shows how much of a labor of love this series was.

The guttural, all-consuming scream we were promised, delivered in spades.
He wasn't gonna say 'ninjas.'

Every time Alicia goes "Taka no!!", can't help but think of the scene from DBZA "Vegeta NO!" "VEGETA YES!"

8:21 “look at the size of those cannons”

And those guns are pretty big too! Hey-yo!!!!

55:55 is the moment you hear Alicia finally figure out how deep this rabbit hole goes.

If you're wondering why Alexander has so many bayonets, it's because his coat is a portal to the bayonet dimension. The author didn't want to keep track and that was the excuse he came up with.

Alicia:NONONONONONONO!!
I love to see her go breakdown.

55:55 "You sound like a majestic fucking seagull!  HARMONIZE WITH ME!"

Okay, I am european and I did NOT think about the impact of the holy knights until I saw Maxwell's face covered with the newspaper. It hit me like a train, i paused and laughed out loud.

Honestly when I first saw those hooded bastards my first and only thought was "oh, they're about to explode nicely"

The Papal Knight scene reminded me of a fun moment I had back in high school. Our school was Title 1 (aka broke and ghetto) and we were partnered with this program called EF which provides low-cost oversees trips for college credit (so it was for good looks and publicity that they gave our school even bigger discounts) for presenting a group cultural research project.

During my junior year (because my family was not letting me pass up 2 weeks all-expense paid in Europe for $600) and the countries were Spain and France. We ended up in Barcelona on Palm Sunday so our teacher (who was from Valencia) recommended that we watch the procession outside of the Sagrada Familia. So we did and the Papal Knights part of the procession came out and the rest of the students were starting to go ballistic so our teacher who was orginally from Spain, and myself (who was the only other Catholic in the group) had to explain the robes. So imagine 2 white guys have to explain to a group of 7 black people raised in the American Deep South hood why these people were waring what appeared to be Klan robes.

From the south here (south carolina ironically enough) and for those unaware " 'bout a few" translates to around 3-4 items

Actually, Takahata is 100% right. That weapon Seras uses is based on Gundam GP03 mobile armor called Dendrobium from Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory. Kohta Hirano is a Gundam fan and he even pictured himself as a Zakrello from the original Gundam TV series from 1979, in Hellsing manga (at least polish versions had a couple words from Hirano on dust covers in every volume)

that last scene is the perfect example of "have we gone too far? "I mean we can keep going until we know for sure"

Inquisitors did indeed wear pointy hoods, in fact they're still used in religious festivals in Spain, who have to label the merchandise with a big sign saying "Not the KKK."
