I do want to point out - TFS have done commentary tracks for their episodes, and they're in pretty strong agreement with Chelzor's view on Gohan. They're very up front with agreeing that none of this is fair to him and they tried to make that come across in their writing, especially 16's speech. Because when the chips are down, sometimes it doesn't matter that it's not fair, that Gohan shouldn't have to make this choice, that Gohan being forced into this fight is not a triumph but a tragedy. But it still has to be done, and Gohan is literally the only person who can do it.

In the series, Gohan cried at literally everything at his introduction. Here, we see his tears dry up, no longer crying.

I like how TFS said that the bird flying away in the background before Gohan transforms is symbolic of his loss of innocence before he goes to kill, for the first time, of his own choice.

16’s speech here was REALLY harsh but true. The call out on Gohan’s cowardice was truly something else.

30:05 And here we are, at one of the greatest love letters DBZ Abridged gave us for the original.

They didn't have to commission an English cover of "Day Of Fate" for this.  But they did it because the scene deserves it.  And it is one of the greatest moments of this series.

18:20 discounting Vegeta Jr Jr, all the names are different voice actors for Cell.

It's kinda funny to think that Piccolo at this point in the story is 14.

there is a full version of the ending song which is INCREDIBLE. the effort TFS put into the finale of this silly little series is, well, perfect

We don't condone child violence,  we do find it hilarious

AFTER TWO YEARS we have now made it to the finale 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I was here the whole time www

" Chelzor come out and accept chats kindness and bittys"
Chelzor: exaggerated sigh

Episode 10 and Episode 30 were split into 3 solely because of Youtube's 10 minute limitation at the time.
By the time this came out that was no longer applicable (this episode alone is about as long as the 3 parts of those combined), but also by then it was tradition for the final episode of each season to be a 3 parter.
And also that if each part was combined for Episode 60, it's a whole ass movie.

You can't truly call yourself 'peaceful' unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

You know, the reason why even Super Saiyans struggled against Cell Juniors is because canonically they are almost as strong as Cell himself (especially since they were created after Cell ate senzu bean and got a small boost), about as strong as Goku was at full power before his exhausting fight with Cell, so they are literally toying with everyone present (exhausted Goku included)
Therefore whether the warriors tried to do anything or just gawked at Gohan in awe at the end there changes nothing about their situation, that's how outclassed they all were.

Out of all the sound bites from this show that live in my head rent-free, the “HE’S ELEVEN” | “I’M SIX” | “Wow(!)” exchange might have the most and/or best real-estate.

Being here when this part was first released years ago was an amazing experience. I remember watching it with my friends and we all had that moment where we were just speechless for that last minute.

0:31 we do, however, find it hilarious 😂

30:55 "Congratulations, you cracked him." Poor choice of words on Chelzor's part lol.

The day of fate has finally come!

"I have done literally nothing wrong."
Piccolo. You threw Gohan at a mountain. When he was five.
You're the reason he grew up with PTSD.
