The dark angels aura is so strong that it healed Cyrus 😅

Really nice of the Necrons to let Cyrus do his speech rather than delete him.

Blood Ravens are Dark Angel's successors confirmed

Yea glad I’m not the only one that’s bothered by slow choreography for Space Marines. I get pandering to the masses so they can follow along but Space Marines are at times described as looking like a blur when fighting to normal folk. I hope with the new upcoming animations and TV shows they do them justice

Prediction: This game will reveal that the Blood Ravens are from the Lion's Geneseed

I need that Dark Angels theme now!!!!!!

Cyrus having calgar level plot armour proves blood ravens are ultramarines successor

My only concern about the blood ravens being a dark angels successor is that why would it have been covered up? I feel like the whole chapter would know if they were from a loyalist gene line, let alone the first legion.

The chaplain on bike absolutely just looks like a head swap

the way the terminators slowly walk and shoot from the telly HO MY GOD PEAK COOLENSS! and steve blum voice act is fucking amazing

The aura of the Dark Angels is awesome!!!!

There is a chance the lion can sense his sons which is why they came to their aid, and in the current lore, the lion was fighting with his sons and successor chapters.

The team is working closely with John French

So maybe secretly the blood ravens were created when a few fallen managed to make a chapter which would explain why their history was redacted from around M37, and also somewhat explain why they take relics, since the first was always seemed to get the coolest tech, like they missed the treatment

Or maybe the lion could sense magny magic's seed in the blood ravens. Revuel Arvida became a grey knight so he's out of the picture but maybe the detached fleet of the thousands sons could have since they were mostly corvidae

I just thought of this

If several time-displaced Calibanite Astartes stumbled out of a warp anomaly in M37, they would be walking into a nightmare. They would realize their home world was shattered, their Primarch was gone, and half their brothers turned traitor

I’m betting Grey Knights found them, and they operate strictly on cosmic threat assessment so interrogation and mind wipes for all. Finding them genetically pure but historically radioactive, the one who found wouldn't want to spark a civil war by telling the ultra-paranoid Unforgiven.

So, throwing them into the isolated Gothic/Aurelian sectors under the guise of an "Unknown Founding" serves as the ultimate, unending penitent crusade or something close to that to keep them away from the DA.

The Blood Ravens' obsession with finding their own past and obsessively hoarding artifacts isn't an alien trait—it is the literal, distilled blueprint of the First Legion. The original Dark Angels were the Emperor's ultimate exterminators, defined by internal compartmentalization, secret societies, and vaults of forbidden gear

Left isolated for millennia with an empty history, the Blood Ravens' inherited genetic psychology would naturally revert to what First Legion geneseed does best: building walls of secrecy, nesting lies within lies, and treating knowledge as a weapon

By bringing back Lion El'Jonson instead of any other Primarch, Games Workshop and head writer John French have chosen the one figure whose entire modern identity revolves around finding, forgiving, and gathering his long-lost sons

But I could also be wrong still it's fun theory of mine and that's enough internet for me

Cyrus just got a bunch of 6s in his feel no pain saves.

Cyrus tanking that spear is preeeeetty strong plot armor. I dunno man, Blood Ravens might have fully taken over for most Mary Sue writing now that Titus has rehabilitated my Ultramarines. 😂

Perhaps Cyrus and the terminator captain are former death watch brothers

Cyrus seems to be injured through the battle . He holds his chest after taking a swing at the necron time lord and when he removes his hand there’s some blood or something on his armor . I think he’s been injured far before the time lord back stabbed him maybe explaining why he is moving so sluggishly . But I wonder what may have originally injured him before this cutscene ?

at 8:08 that chap chaplain got the bestest aura ever!

The Blood Ravens are going to steal so many precious artifacts in this game, I can't wait!

The 'Deathwing Captain' is the 3rd Company Master. He is just wearing terminator armour. You can see the 3rd Company's heraldry on his tilt shield and he is wearing the standard green and white chapter symbol on his right shoulder. Pretty sure they also confirmed it in a warcom article

brother? foilrak cmon clearly they are hinting at the bloodravens being dark angels to fuck with everyone
