You do know, don't you, that Chicken Tikka Masala is NOT an indian dish but was invented in Glasgow when a customer asked for a curry that wasn't too spicy. This is what the chefs provided. It's varied since then, but has never seen the Indian Sub=Continent. However this is a very enjoyable video and very informative to boot! Thanks.
HP sauce is now made in the Netherlands and since that change the taste has altered significantly. It is now a lot sweeter and therefore not the same stuff that it used to be!
Chicken Tikka Massala is a Scottish dish. If you asked for it in India you would get a blank stare as they will never have heard of it😊 All the best from Scotland Rab.
This is getting out of hand... You were "literally shocked" no fewer than FOUR TIMES in this video. I really enjoy these videos, but every time I hear "literally shocked" it really sets my teeth on edge!
In a British chippie you order your sauce as you order your chips, the chippie doesn't ask you after. If you didn't request it yourself they will assume you don't want any
Chicken Tikka Masala Was Invented In Glasgow, Not India. Cant Beat Chips and Gravy. Here In The North We Dont Have Cheese and Gravy. Brown Sauce Is Mandatory In the Kitchen Cupboard. In Hull We Have Patties.
I find your complaints about the British weather irritating. It's not as wet as say Ireland or America's Pacific North-West. Winters are not cold - not compared with Canada and much of the USA. Our climate is Maritime - warm, dry summers and cool, moist winters - nothing too extreme.
