I like Chad Smith's version better than the original. Worked better

Honestly this shows you what a true master Chad Smith is. Even if he’s not a classically trained musician, he understands music to such an extent that he can just flow with it. It’s amazing.

Stunning, he doesn't even do a full listen-through, just listens 10-15 seconds for the logic and flow of the song and jumps in....and his drumming is fantastic. Things like this is what I love the internet for, getting to see a Master of a musical instrument do something like this.

When I think about this song now I hear Chad's beat in my head and I know it's not the original beat but that's what pops up first.

The original song is like when you give up the chad smith version is when you fight back 🔥🔥🔥🔥

the way he adds in the double tap on the crash and mutes it with a grab at 8:15 is so cool.

Every time i see him finish the song in this video, just flat-out cracks me up. It's a total Urkle, "Did i do that?" moment 😂

Pretty sure that all of the meme "Chad" references were just inspired by Chad Smith at this point.

That's the Craziest Freestyle I've ever seen both songs

Just imagine what he would have done with it after running through it the 2nd and 3rd time. I honestly prefer what he came up with.

If you're doing Drumeo reactions, Mike Portnoy doing Pneuma by Tool and Eloy doing Mastodon are absolutely mandatory, if you don't know Pneuma, there's a drumcam performance that will blow your mind.
