I already know this show is going to be absolutely peak thought out it’s whole run

"Look at the plushies" you can't tell me what to do,

27:10 they tell you at the start of the show that the machines are genuinely run on blood and fear not fictional, like actual blood and fear. So you use artificial organs to move around the blood

Blue Lung is caused by the contamination, so it isn't contagious. Andrea surely got sick while working. Sparky said something like that to Francesca.

So, there's some history to this one:
The creators of this series,  - Dana Terrace, John Bailey Owen, and Zach Marcus, - all previously worked on a hit Disney show called The Owl House that got canceled thanks to "not fitting the Disney brand." It was hugely popular, which baffled so many people as to why it was canceled. Some people thought it might have been because it supported LGBTQ+ characters - the main character is bisexual and has a lesbian girlfriend, while one side character has a pair of fathers who are just amazing - but Dana herself confirmed it wasn't even that. It was that the series wasn't episodic - it told a larger, overarching story, and cartoons are moving more to self-contained stories, where you don't need to see prior episodes to understand what's happening.

This resentment bubbled over in Dana and the crew - for the rest of Owl House's limited run, they bashed Disney over and over. They were successful, but not in the way Disney wanted them to be, so they were shut down. The along came GLITCH several years later, offering Dana a chance at a new show, with no restrictions and a huge budget. And that's how we got KoG.

Knowing Dana's resentment to Disney can really reshape how you view this series. Orville, the owner of the park, feels a lot like a certain other park owner. And Gwen's hair poofs look suspiciously like mouse ears, don't they? Those lower labs, where "abandoned projects are left to rot" look oddly like the Epcot ball, one of Disney's own abandoned projects. And a copy-pasted princess, the same personality slapped into dozens of molds to appeal to the next generation, the next genre, the next group of kids. The death of individualism, corporate greed, abuse of workers, and the death of whimsey all seem to be themes of KoG.

I'm not saying that's all this series is - as a huge Owl House fan, I can say Dana is one of the best directors around, and her team is astounding - but there's an obvious stab at the Mouse in all of this, and it's refreshing to see someone stand up and boldly say with their full chest that a megacorporation is terrible and then display why.

The Korra of Owl House is actually a nice compliment.

I only just now noticed but the lighting on Camilla's model changes with the lighting of the scene she's watching, I didn't know you could do that

so sad i missed this but the show looks so good !! it was a surprise wasnt expecting another glitch show so soon cant wait !!

It's Girl boss.
But they're doing it right.
I can't deny this.

2 things.

1) at the beginning, the guts being pulled on could be ment to represent an umbilical cord. A child leashing her mother through the umbilical cord.

2) At the end when the repair halo scans Gwen it displays what appears to be a human brain.

I feel like the imp will have a new model after watching this episode and I'm excited to see it

There is a theory that what Frankie sees isn't entirely in her head, a few variations of these from cybernetic eye taken from an animatronic they scrapped to nanites in the blue blood got into her brain. Either way the theory goes she is seeing what the androids see, this networked projection from the park as one of the parts that keeps their quasi-organic technology under control, a projected fantasy world full o color and colorful characters and accessible data as Frankie was also watching an old "Walt Dizney shows you behind the scenes" kind of video on a screen only showing static. As well as the room changing color when Andie comes in so we see what it really looks like compared to the brighter more colorful version Frankie sees.

the other side of that theory is the park is using some kind of calming drug to keep the bio-roids under control, Guinevere freaking out from the pain in the opening scene may be such a drug wearing off, the "exotics" Sparky mentions and the timing of him mentioning it would imply they know the androids have this drug in their systems they can filter out and be used by humans, implying they planned to get that out of the Guinevere android. That said when they fixed her at the end they may have done some harm (that the next episode may focus on) putting the drug back into Guinevere while fixing her as a standard repair protocol, so next episode may have some surreal elements as the drug wears off and Guinevere's real personality comes through.

Yeeea it’s almost definitely Andi that’s sick. They make a point of showing his spit before they shake, and it’s not blue. And when they’re running away from Sun, she’s coughing

21:39 Everybody questioning whether or not andi has  blue lung. She does have it. She worked for the company, she's been around the parts, she has gotten sick and also with how fluid dynamics works when you shake somebody's hand if liquids are on both hands they merge at the time of the shake, what spit is yours is on the bottom of your hand touching it and what spit is the other person's is what's on top; Like when you slide 2 ice cream cones together some chocolate will get on the vanilla and some vanilla will get on the chocolate

We have to get this show to be more popular and more of a hit then anything on Disney, just to make sure that Disney knows how bad a decision it was to cancel the owl house.

I have seen an artist friend of mind stating that Frankies design is heavily inspired by Amethyst from steven universe. at least the hair.

8:49 you say they don't care about the planet but what you dont notice is the planet originally had no life or anything on it to begin with as it was terraformed for life. Not only that it was terraformed outside what's considered this show's version of the united nations so they don't have to abide by their laws and are in a galactic law free zone they get to create their own hence the authoritarian tactics.

This music part has TotK vibes: "11:19"

I’ve been waiting for you to react to this❤
