Taken from Part 1, 2 & 3 from a previous series I did on sketchy Formula 1 sponsors, I thought it needed a single video as you were asking me to do sponsors from videos which were already made.

I’d rather have tobacco sponsors over gambling and ai companies

Arrows fell for a Nigerian prince scam

The most funny part about Williams is that alongside Rokit, they almost got RICH ENERGY (You can find an image of a Williams with a Rich Energy logo, but not as a title sponsor)

Love the alternative topics and not just another channel saying what everyone is saying... Keep it coming

"Williams promised their car would be brilliant, but it wasn't" Well, who doesn't do that? You'd hardly expect a team to say "yeah, it's not much good really, but if you'd like to give us a big sponsorship deal that'd be cool", would you?

This is the best way to watch the "series", especially for who hasn't watched them as episodes. Thank you.

Worth pointing out that Marcus Ericsson had a pretty long-standing partnership with Huski until 2023, with his 2022 Indy 500 winning car being a full-on Huski livery

Moneytron may have been a massive scam but at least it gave us one of the best liveries in F1 history on the Onyx.

14:40 i always wondered why people described it as “Winnow” instead of “Win Now”

I think Worldcom would be an interesting story.

Nice list! I wish you had also covered the Broker Magazin sponsored 1994 Sauber C13 though. :)

Auto racing and horse racing are some of the best money laundering opportunities in existence.

The MC/Lola deal was also just a terrible agreement from the jump, being borderline scammy. Mastercard did not pay direct upfront fees to Lola, like every other sponsorship deal. Payments to Lola were contingent on fans buying memberships into a special credit card "F1 Club" promotion. So when MC pushed to go racing a year early, Lola didn't get any of the money for operating costs. Lola assumed ALL the risks here and MC got to just walk away.

Huski sponsored McLaren and Alfa Romeo at the same time, which was incredibly unusual at that time. In the 90s it was common to see cigarette brands like Mild Seven and Marlboro appear on multiple teams cars, overalls or drivers helmets, but I think the only other time we saw multi team sponsorship was when Red Bull fell out with Sauber and stuck Bernoldi in the Arrows. (of course I am not including RB/VCARB sharing sponsors for obvious reasons).
As for Rokit, another one of their brands is ABK Beer, and you will often see them go hand in hand with Rokit branding.

To give an idea, the engine that Lola had to scrape together to put in that 1997 car was fundamentally the one that was in the back of the 1994 Benetton. It was roughly 4 generations behind what Tyrrell started that year with.

It's baffling how people could forget Broker Magazine sponsor scam from '94? They were original sponsors for Sauber in season-1994, but they actually were German T-Minus before T-Minus.
