This video is sponsored by....nobody. So why not subscribe to the channel so I can pay for a new windtunnel? Cheers for watching

The fact that everything is told in a way unpatronising to the average viewer puts these easily in a must watch category.
Thanks for the recommendations.

I used to have Damon Hill: The Fight for Victory- it really showed the pressure he was under and the fact he managed to win despite Williams firing him was outstanding! Did love the Eddie Irvine one as well- he was a real character who while divisive came so close to glory!

Love revisiting this old docs- everything is so sanitized and packaged now as every driver media trained

Someone like Murray is truly missed in today’s F1 and far beyond…

I watched only the first series of Drive to Survive. It is fabricated peace of sh**- As a proper fan I watch every race to get my own emotions. Thank you for showing me, what I need to see to remind me the purity of this sport.

Drive to survive? We don't talk about that.

Highly recommend the Eddie Irvine film. Priceless insight into a driver who knew he was being set up to fail by his own team, but couldn't say so. The Nurburgring scenes in particular were eye-opening. Ferrari were smart with the German and Malaysia stuff but they knew what they were doing. I'm convinced to this day that Irvine doesn't talk about it because he got paid off.

I also recommend Crash and Burn. It's about Tommy Byrne, an Irish driver who reached Formula 1 in the early 1980s and his subsequent fall.

The two part 1986 Equinox documentary on Cosworth, Ford and Keith Duckworth trying to create a V6 Turbo for a F1 Car. You see Cosworth blowing up F1 engines and doing forensic strip downs to find how it failed. Both parts here.

I've seen most of these documentaries and loved F1 back on the 80s and 90s. I watched 10 minutes of DTS and stopped before what's left of my IQ drained away. F1 nowadays is basically content for the kids, a bit like WWF. I bearly watch.

Back when F1 was real.

The 1981 BBC Horizon documentary "The Grid" on the Williams Team in 1981. This was the second of two docs Horizon did with Williams, the first was the pre-season "Gentlemen Raise your skirts" with Williams coping with the end of ground effects, is sadly not on youtube atm.
