I forgot to mention Dark Fury
Its a sick animated movie, great ending song, badass villains, fits really well in the riddick universe as a follow up to Pitch Black

Riddick's power is in stealth, stoicism, and in knowing the perfect timing for execution. He is basically a hunter archetype.

Bro I 100% agree You wanna talk about a fearless ultra confident Anti-Hero. He actually makes the situations harder for Himself just to get a buzz off it

Riddick is MY GUY.
I will always ride for Chronicles of Riddick. I hate how we never got a true sequel to that film.

When he says Vin Diesel is 70-80 years old, always freaking cracks me  up LOL

Riddick is to Sci-Fi what Conan, Kratos, Guts, and Geralt are to Fantasy. they don't just think outside the box they crush it with their sheer presence. All top-tier badass characters.

Riddick is one of my favourite characters in film and in Sci-fi.

And hands-down Vin Diesel's most underrated role.

Chronicles of riddick, AMAZING! The video game escape from butcher bay AMAZING!

If i am not mistaken, Vin Diesel only did more Fast and Furious in exchange for the rights to the Riddick franchise and he got the fourth movie green lit because he really liked the character. Or was that a fever dream i had

Comes from nation of warriors
Physically strong and athletic
strong bond with nature
extreme willpower and toughness
became criminal
attracts women a lot
overall skillfull
fight beast even with bare hands
in one moment cracks Jokes and then is complete serious killer
kills wizard and almost randomly became king.
was betrayed and must again fight for survive...

This is my description of paperback book of Conan stories:)

When Riddick killed lord Marshall and then sat on the throne, i was like " Yeah, badass, nightvision space Conan!!"

This role fit Vin perfectly. Stepping away from the role was good for his pocket.

Riddick evolved his latent eye shine in the dark pit of butch bay. Only Furian alpha males can have an eye shine.

I never saw Riddick as an "Anti-Hero". To me Riddick was always an "Anti-Villian". It is clearly stated even in the movie when the Elemental says "...but sometimes the only way to stop evil, is not with good. You must confront it with another kind of evil." Nuff said. Another great example of this would be, Zaffy go look in the mirror while you're wearing that mask, and the real answer will become clear. It'll be staring you dead in your reflection. I think, instead of comparing Riddick to characters like Batman or The Punisher, he has more in common with characters like Deadshot or Deathstroke the Terminator.

It only just now hit me, Christopher Nolan/Heath Ledger's Joker killed a dude with a pencil long before John Wick...on screen no less

Riddick is litterally a franchise I can watch non stop without getting bored whatsoever, He is Right next to Spawn for me.

F&F's moral is "Family"... Riddick's moral is "Grow a fuckin spine" 😂

My idea back in the day when Pitch Black first came out and they were in talks about making the Alien vs Predator movies was to put riddick in there to represent the human side of AvP. Have it set in the Aliens timeline like it should have been instead of modern times, have a Platoon of Space Marines searching for Riddick because they lost contact with a previous platoon and they believe riddick was the one who took them out because they know about how crazy and capable riddick is. Only it wasnt riddick, it was the Predators that took out the marines because they landed on an alien hunting ground planet that the predators wanted to be kept secret. After the marines came into contact with an alien egg and all chaos broke out ultimately taking out the marines, only Riddick survived because maybe like in pitch black, the marines had him in custody at the time but he managed to escape and save himself. The new Marines land on the planet and recon like in the Aliens movie... but instead of finding Nute, they come across Riddick and after a brief conflict between the marines and riddick, they reach and middle ground and decide to find out what really happened, and riddick informs them of the aliens and predators and then we get Riddick as the new ripley helping the marines until he's the last survivor fighting against the predator and aliens. Easy money.....

Forgotten? Riddick lives rent-free in my head.

He hadn't a surgery. You can find what really happened in Escape From Butcher Bay.

Saving Private Ryan. Small and insignificant role, died from a sniper's bullet. That's how i remember him.
