Riddick got his eyes from Family. simple as that.

“I’ll kill you with my teacup” has to be one of the most underrated badass lines in cinema history

Day 24 of asking Roanoke to face his fears and cover Subnautica.

roanoke explaining the biology of a soul was not something I had on my bingo card for roanoke videos.

How can anyone hate the Riddick trilogy man, its no Alien but they are awesome movies and Vin Diesel VA's the Butcher Bay and the animated spinoff for free just because he loved the character and the world he was helping create.

Riddicks one of my childhood favorites, such a fond place in my heart.

I'd imagine blondie walked out into the Sun because he probably felt shame and guilt for having been converted into a Necromonger. I know that if i Converted over to the side of the people who basically wiped out my planet I'd feel a great deal of guilt and shame for sure.

To be vaguely fair to Helion Prime: The Necromongers are advanced enough that their small-arms fire bolts of compressed paragravity whereas the Helions seem to have good old-fashioned chemical combustion mass drivers.

So if I remember correctly, I may be mistaken, the reason the necromongers don’t keep the planets is because they are “on a crusade to the underverse” and don’t need/want the planets because the only way to get to the underverse is to die in service of the head marshal. I.E. they need to keep finding new planets to conquer and die on to reach their afterlife, where the head marshal repopulates his army from the converts/conscripts and continues to the next planet.

Riddick already feels like an outsider with normal humans it's not a far fetch idea to think he lied to seem more human rather than saying it's an evolutionary trait of his people setting him farther apart.

The eyeshine is described as a genetic trait exclusively inherited by Alpha Furyans like Riddick, whom is also stronger than the others. While all Furyans possess peak human physiology, the Alphas are known to be damn near, if not outright, superhuman. Not all Furyans possess this genetic trait. The game is canon and retconned the first movie as Jack points out nothing he told her about the prison was true when it came to the eyeshine. In the game we never see Riddick get his eyeshine surgery as he described it. This video even mentioned it. All the surgeon did was stitch up his wound. Riddick who knew NOTHING of his Furyan heritage simply attributed it to the surgeon as an explanation. He was wrong. Vaako even tells Riddick he fought a Furyan during the genocide that possessed the same eyes as him, further proving it is a natural trait. Also I own the games and the movies since I was a teenager.

Pitch Black

Riddick: looks clear

Creature jumps out

Johns:you said clear

Riddick: I said it looks clear

Johns:what's it look now

Riddick: looks for 3 seconds looks clear

In the game he doesn't get his eyes from a doctor. He gets his arm stitched up by a doctor and then time freezes and a disembodied voice tells him that it will give him a gift and then POW! he's got sun sensitivity. No menthols necessary.

A big thing though about riddick specific and it was constantly stated is that he’s an alpha furyon which gave him enhanced abilities which brings to mind that they probably had a civilization like Saiyans classing system

Man casually explaining how souls work through Science. I love this channel.

Commander Shepard is on vacation at the moment. They will be back in five to six days. Thank you for contacting Alliance Communications. Have a nice day.

Riddick's connection with Pack based Predators also could be an evolutionary trait, its shown much better in the Third movie but he seems to understand animals on instinctual levels

“No shot, space U.S.A isn’t showing up with space nukes and blowing that comet out the sky” 😂😂😂 that was gold commentary

The director’s cut does help clear up some plot inconsistencies but not by much

Best part of the Riddick series is when he drifts his ship and says family while fighting
