Jonesy the cat in Alien 100% shows fear and aggression. Several times he hisses, frantically runs away, and hides. Cats will sometimes hide if threatened, not making themselves known. And that is exactly what he does when the one guy is killed by the alien. You see just a close up on Jonesy's face, completely still, eyes wide, obviously scared but not moving an inch as he hides.
Cobbs says the Totem is personally YOURS. He then shows his wife's top. Her top is not his totem. His wedding ring is. When it is on he is dreaming, when it is off he is in the real world. Watch again and you will see this matches Michael Cane saying scenes with him in it are real.
I heard an interview with Michael Cain and he said that in the movie Inception, whenever his character is in the scene it is the real world. He is in The final scene. The spinning top has nothing to do but make the audience come up with, "is he or isn't he," theory's...
No, The Oracle does not tell Neo he is not the one. She tells Neo that being The One is like being in love. No one can tell you, you just know. So she can't know. She just triggers his own response. He doesn't believe he is The One, so he doesn't unleash that potential. It is not reality that needs to change and bend, it is him. There is no spoon.
An additional, and even darker theory for the featherless raptors: birds are known to pull our their own feathers during times of severe stress. The raptors being kept in a small, enclosed pen, in a time that's million of years after the time they actually existed, may have caused them to de-feather themselves thus why they have none in the first movie, but by the third movie (where they're roaming free) they now have feathered crests.
The one theory about Blade Runner I've seen that I think works ( I have not seen the second movie , no knowledge of it ) is that after Gaff is injured they make the Decker replicant and give it all of Gaff's knowledge and memories. That is why he leaves the unicorn , Gaff knows what dreams Decker will be having .
Don't want to be "that guy" but in Passengers, at the very beginning when the ship goes through the asteroid field (the one that caused the damage to the ship revealed later in the film), there is an error screen that displays Jim Preston's hibernation pod has an error - the reason he woke up is very clearly shown at the very beginning of the film, it was the asteroid that damaged the ship's computer.
Inception is always a wonder. Ariadne/Elliot plays alot of interesting roles in the multiverse. I've always wondered if she had some part in the story that was bigger then what is viewed. Like she is shown the deeper parts of Cobb that others don't see. A part of me wonders if she wrote/created a world he could find peace, after the job. When she jumps, she is the last before him. Where he stays to 'let go'. When Ariandne falls, she goes tpose like literally jesus, making me wonder if she then rewrites the world, for Cobb. Tricking him into 'waking' because maybe he never would leave. Or some theory around that. He mentioned that the whole reason he knew you could 'plant' things in peoples minds is because he did, which he reveals to Ariandne. In a way, I always wonder if he was grooming her to actually make a 'reality' he was happy, tricking him and also completing the mission. Cobb helps finish the mission, then Ariandne helps trick him into finally giving up questioning his own reality. After all, Jack sinks with the Titantic. Rose lives. Elliot is in a new movie coming out soon...very INTERESTING.
