I'm a high school history teacher, and in this video I'll explain the historical context behind the events of Call of Duty: WW2's campaign. Thank you to everyone who recommended this game to me! Stick around to the end of the video for my thoughts on what this game's campaign does well and what it doesn't.

Edit: Another thing I want to mention is that during germany's offensive campaigns, whenever they were able to capture an enemy arms factory, they often used those same factories to just keep pumping out the same weapons they were already producing and just slapping a german markings on them and giving them a new designation, like the FN factory during the ocupation of belgium where they just had them keep making browning high powers but just put nazi markings on them and designated them "Pistole 640(b)" but it was the exact same pistol as the allies used, and you could even use a "german" high power with an allied high power's magazine, or vise versa.
