I wish i had a history teacher like you as a teen. I love these videos to death

5:10 also in BFV context... medics are fucking dangerous lol

"The Last Tiger" seems to be based off of the real historical event which happened during the Battle of Cologne in 1945 when an German Panther took out two M4 Sherman tanks

“If you think you would be one of the “good” ones, I have news for you, you wouldn’t.”

Harsh, but accurate words that more and more people need to hear honestly. Those who fail to understand the mistakes that history has shown and taught us are doomed to repeat them. Thank you so much for this video and especially that talk at the end. I also recommend (as I saw someone else say) the Sniper Elite series. They can be mindless action games, but they do have some unique aspects of the war as well that aren’t necessarily covered all that much.

goat talk at the end, I'm very glad someone like you is educating the youth

That last mission gave me the feels when i played it 😢. Feel for both sides.

YES!! Honestly Battlefield V felt very interesting when they tackled uncommon parts of WW2, especially with the multiplayer maps set in 1940 Norway and the Arras map during the British rearguard defense of Dunkirk, then when they implemented key Fallschirmjager details in the Greek map Mercury in 1941.

Last Tiger was really great in showing the Axis side of the war. It was short, but the dysfunctional aspect of Peter's tank crew: the realist, loyalist, and the pessimist mindsets really felt at home that really challenged Peter's team player persona.

Yeah the game fell short of historical authenticity especially the soldier skins (especially during launch day with the weird mixes of M65 Vietnam jacket for UK (very weird), Italian samurai style vest for Germany), but to me personally it really made me want to learn beyond the popular battles of WW2 that we all know.

I think bfv was underrated,
Getting thrown on your ass from the shockwave of a nearby v-2 rocket never gets old

3:14 “a German tank driver in Libya in 1941.” I guess the devs took the creative freedom to put the Tiger into a timeline before it was actually introduced irl. I think 1942.

Wish that I had a teacher like this

8:22 SBS employing convicts could be an homage to the French Foreign Legion? I know most militaries are somewhat okay with enlisting felons but the FFL being comprised of people with… diverse pasts… could be what the writers were going for

Hungover, just got some food, sit down do eat and youtube recommends this video. God is great

Love your content by the way can you try the assassin’s creed games next

Holy crap I just found my new binge worthy channel. Thank you. I’ve always loved history in high school

27:55 I still believe that the gun shots are actually from a m3 grease gun. I don’t want to go into depth but if you compare the in-game gun sounds to the gun shots in the scene, it sounds a lot more like grease gun shots

13:50 I remember reading a book about this it was called "sabotage" but I don't remember the rest of it very good book would recommend

Can't wait for the battlefield 3 campaign video. Keep up the good work man, greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽

Agreed Under No Flag kinda sucks. I liked the other ones pretty well though. Great video as always! Keep it up 👍

6:48 not to be nitpicky but I believe it is a V-1 rocket that was used here. I would assume it's a V-1 because the V-1 rocket is a reinforcement in the regular game that can be used when playing as Germany. Would it be reasonable that a V-1 rocket may have been used during the fight that was depicted?

Awesome you are popping off
