Decent Game, Disappointing Sequel | Fable III Review

Fable III is the most controversial entry in Lionhead Studios’ legendary trilogy of action RPGs — and for good reason. There are many staple gameplay systems that were either “streamlined” or dropped entirely, the final act of the game is held together by duct tape, and massive corners were clearly cut due to the game’s rushed development. Still, there’s enjoyment to be had in this 25 to 30 hour long experience. Although it isn’t quite what I (or many other fans) may have wanted or expected out of a sequel to the first two games, Fable III still brings some unique charm to the table.
