An Empire Earth video in 2026?!?! We are so back

This was my first rts back when I was 8 years old. My dumb ass didn’t know the difference between Empire Earth and age of empires

" A Brief Disagreement" : The Game.

This is my favorite RTS of all time. It's a crime there hasn't yet been a remaster.

Man, Empire Earth brings me so much happy memories. My granpa used to play this game a lot, and we were playing the campain together while he was teaching me RTS every time i went to his house

The RTS that tried and succeeded!

[We're under attack] God this bring backs childhood memories

The fun fact I remember is that lots of documentaries back in the 2000's and 2010's used music tracks from Empire Earth, as they got licensed out.

The main theme of the game that plays in the main menu is something that will haunt me (in a positive way) to the day i die.

5:32 This is why, TO THIS DAY, no matter what strategy game i play, i always assign 6 workers to a resource 😂

I remember this game used the phrase "Deus Vult" before it was popular.

I liked this game a lot as a kid. EE2 was also kind of cool, instead of Iron it had a rotating series of special resources including iron, saltpetre, oil, and uranium, with each age having access to 2 of them and the others showing up as “unidentified rock” before you were in the right age to see what they were. I thought that was a cool way to do it.

We're under attack!!

I loved this game's manual as a kid. It was more like a huge book than a manual.

My favorite part is the cinematic with the eye patch guy looking through the binoculars with both eyes

"You won't run out of resources. You're going to run outa people."

War in a nutshell and civilisations in a nutshell. They nailed it with this game's feel.

I am really happy to see that people still make videos about this game to this day. It was the first computer game I had ever played, since I was 4, and always was among my favorites along with other classics like Age of Empires II and Rise of Nations. I really loved the way you went into detail about the things that made this game special for people like me, which is often missed by content creators who talk about this game.

Since I've played this game from a very young age, here are some fun facts and corrections for anyone who is interested:

7:56 Prophets are available from the get go just like priests.

10:03 The English campaign also has a few missions that take place after the middle ages, with the final one going as far as the napoleonic era. Fun fact, I believe there was originally also planned to be a mission about the new world but it was scrapped.

11:40 Another fun fact, which is something I haven't really seen other RTS games do, is that the music playing smoothly transitions to a battle version of that same track when a unit starts attacking something in your view, and then transitions back to the normal peaceful version when there is no longer fighting or when you look somewhere else which is really cool. Rise of Nations, Age of Mythology and Age of Empires III do something similar, but the transition isn't as smooth, it just completely changes the current track playing to one of the battle tracks.

I LOVE THIS GAME. when I was teenager this game was 24/7 in my pc along with Rise of Nations Patriots

Age of Empires 2, Red Alert 2, Generals Zero Hour, Empire Earth, Empire Earth 2 and Rise of Nations are basically my childhood, RTS runs within my blood

I still fear the “hi yo” sound of a priest converting

Have never seen a player who doesn’t
