$5,300 Mini Excavator Journey

I finally got my Typhon Terror XIII mini excavator home and this is my full Day 1 test and first review.

This is a 1.3 ton mini excavator with the 13.5HP Briggs & Stratton gas engine, hydraulic thumb, dozer blade, and removable canopy. I bought it for around $5,300 on eBay, got it delivered by semi, had to trailer it home, then immediately found out it was just a little too tall for my garage.

In this video I go through my first real day using it as a complete beginner. I remove old rotted bug-infested logs, fight some thorn bushes that absolutely deserved it, test the hydraulic thumb, mess with the dozer blade, check out the engine compartment, look over the controls, and give my honest first thoughts on whether this cheap mini excavator seems worth it so far.

I am not a professional operator. This is just a real first-use test from someone learning the machine on their own property. So yes, the controls were awkward at first, yes, I looked confused, and yes, the thorns still started the fight.

More videos are coming soon, including more Typhon Terror XIII testing, digging, driveway work, filling a sinkhole, building a retaining wall, garage remodel projects, and before-and-after property cleanup videos.

If you enjoy real DIY projects, equipment testing, garage upgrades, property cleanup, and watching someone slowly become slightly less terrible at using a mini excavator, please like the video and subscribe.

Thanks for watching!
