😂 I did a lot of research and also bought this XIX directly from Typhon. It has the same D902 Kubota that my BX 23s had. Now have 20hrs on it and Very Impressed with it 👍

I'm getting ready to order the same machine. You have already answered so many of my questions before I spend my money on a excavator. I'm hoping I get the same quality as you have.

Thanks for the video, very helpful... In my opinion ALL of these Chinese mini excavators require a $35-50 remote battery terminal kit! It makes jump starting (either direction) /charging/adding accessories an absolute breeze... Only having to access those ridiculous battery placements once until it's time to upgrade to a larger battery after the factory one goes bad is worth every penny of $40 and a 30 minute instalation! 😉👍

I bought mine on ebay about a month after you did. Thanks for doing a review!

After 6 months I don't regret the purchase however I would suggest looking at the Rippa Pro series.

To help clear things up. Huayee is the maker. Typhon, Titan, and several others order these units and choose colors, stickers/logos. And other options as well. I learned that after purchasing a unit from Titan. What they call an 18 was actually a 16. Typhon does it also. Typhon markets the Huayee 18 as the xix terror. Look closely and do your research.

Overall great video , I'm about broke so I appreciate the great detail and your personal opinion on subjects , I likewise have many pet peevs so thank you for sharing yours because rarely do most people's make sense on what they are complaining about , many valid reasons ,,,, for the seat issue with the bolts get a ratcheting wrench I have some and makes all the difference on most jobs , smart with the don't go cheap , my grandfather used to say buy cheap and cry twice , best regards

I just got the Flex 18 from Typhon. It has the smaller diesel, but comes with implements and tracks that extend out. I haven’t had time to run it much. It’s pretty jerky if you jam the controls, but I think with a little practice it can be pretty smooth. My complaint is it has a cab and getting to the fuel tank to fill, and hydraulic tank to fill is difficult at best. I bought pumps to transfer the fluids.

You are killing me with the roman numerals...

Thanks for the info. I ordered the same machine on a whim. Been looking around for information about it

Thanks for all the info , just purchased the XX

Great video, I was considering buying the XII with the D902 engine now it's a done deal. Semper Fi !!!

I purchased the Terror XVIII model as it seemed to be the heaviest in the 2 ton range.  Haven't used it yet as it is winter now, but I wanted to buy one before the huge Chinese tariffs happen in 2025.  I am pleased with the fit and finish of my Terror XVIII.

Great video imo. Little chatty but well spoken and informative.  Thanks. I'm not in the market, but any info on these helps others.

Thank You Sir for your service 1st of all...and you videos 1 & 1.5 have been great...I purchased my unit just like this on Friday of last week...did a ton of research....your video was very informative...learned a lot...question...what oils..engine & hydrolic did you use....keep it up..great tutorial

Hello. I agree with you about your learning curve. I too was excited to see I could by an excavator for $4k. Do my research, I saw the $9 - $10k machines had better engines, higher flow hydraulic pumps and of course stability from weighting more. I too purchased the Tyson Terror XVII from Ebay and still waiting for it (we’re at ten days now). But they gave me the # for the trucking co, and they’ve been “ok” with keeping me up to date.
Thanks for one of the few Typhon Terror video.

Hello everyone-  thank you for all the comments.  It’s April and still snow on the ground until first week or two of May for me to post part 2 but I have projects waiting.  XIX is 1.9 and I mentioned 1.8 to correct myself.   I see typhon has a XX now and almost looks like the XVIII which is a good machine.  I don’t check comments for questions so you can direct questions to me.  Some found me on FB messenger and that was cool.  Anyway,  just an update.

Great information thanks

Great Video of your EBAY purchasing experience.  Obviously its winter time so will have to wait for the actual demo :-)

Thank you and yes  I want part 2

Great video. Don’t worry you did fine
