Psssssh!  I considered getting one of those auger type splitters for my AGT L12R....no thanks!  (But thank YOU for helping make that final decision!  Now I can waste that money on some other unnecessary item lol).  Thanks for the video and your humor along the way (I can appreciate it even if our wives don't!)

I dislike firewood, but reality is often we have it, so, use it if you have it.

I would like to see this attachment used on splitting a stump for stump removal.

Haven't tried the log splitter attachment yet but it's been such a huge help having our mini around. Just the other weekend we used it to load about 6000lbs of logs on a trailer.  Dug a 250 ft long trench @ 6 feet deep. Even dug a grave for our dog in the middle of an Alaskan winter, that was a rough ride. Extremely impressed with these machines especially for the price

So much for talking the logs once? This just got better and better! I know now why I moved out of Wisconsin.

I belive thise cones are for splitting bigger rounds down to size so you can move them by hand and resplit if needed

Good video. It went about the way I thought it would. When you use those screw type splitters. You need to split your whole log and then buckem to length. I always thought they were nothing but an accident going someplace to happen.

Maybe install table on splitter and use machine to pick up set on table. Appreciate your honesty.

ive only seen these screw splitters used with the cut end going into the screw, not the side of the log.

That boom splitter would be good for stump splitting.

I may have missed this if you mentioned it but set some heavy steel or jig in the ground that you can lay your wood against/in so it doesn't spin.

turn the auger (its just an auger with that cone bit) the other way where the lines are facing inward towards the excavator. also keep the engine idle up because i was letting the thing run with a low idle when i would hop off of it and it ended up not running high enough to keep the battery charged.

I like that enclosure. I’m looking to get one from China so I can air condition the one that I got as I live in the hot dirty south.

When I was a kid, my dad had a corkscrew splitter that you removed the tire off a vehicle (we had a junkie old truck) mounted to hub. truck was put on blocks wheels off ground. LOL later I think they were outlawed. Anyways we had a concrete slab that stopped it from spinning. I was wondering if you could somehow pin it against the blade to stop the chunk from spinning. or some kind of post in the ground that you could put chunk up against.  I would just use the thumb and lift the big chunks on your splitter and use that attachment as a post hole auger they have 8" and 12" auger bits for that. I have a MIVA excavator with that same motor attachment (I believe I saw MIVA on the side of it.)

Turn the  motor around it's supposed to hold it when you curl the bucket and keep it from swinging.
