This video is a great example of how bullshit it is that the AI in bannerlord can materialize troops from thin air to constantly siege any town or castle, which makes the endgame very tedious.

John 'the Roachking' Bannerlord, first of his name. May his shameful legacy live on for generations!

Man I didn't think I'd get lucky enough to find a Predz Bannerlord video right after finishing up weedwhacking. I shall enjoy the darn heck out of these next 56 minutes.

Pov: you joined the western empires army, then you hear whispers that you are going to the "castle that has never been sieged". Then a crazy maniac throws a thousand pounds rock on your head

The constant declaration of war's / endless siege mechanics are why I usually just execute all of my enemies. I know this makes it harder cause the idea is to have them join me later, but from my own roleplay perspective, I like to think that sending your army to attack me and not one single person makes it back home sends a more powerful message. Realistically you are not going to sustain those sorts of total losses of manpower and material in successive years or even successive generations. But the game doesn't have mechanics like that so...

41:55 You used this voice line again on accident. This is what you said earlier when you chased the soldiers away from the front gate. John Bannerlord couldn't help this time since he was KO'd.

33:31 thats why i use the mod that allows governors to handle city quests, the governor gets all the xp and the city gets all the gold but it makes so i dont come back from a huge war campaign to see my prosperity at an expected change of -150

The peasant paradox, you have to go with enough people that you can fight off the random guy, but also a group too small for the jerk in the castle to attack.

Begrudgingly gives like.

"And who did they choose as their opponent?

The WORLD"

I miss that old chunk of coal

I love how you reference James "Neppo" Thor and the stain he has become on both the YouTube and World of Warcraft communities. Going to be a fun VOD.

49:25 Alright that tower shot was NASTY

I'm not mad,  but being a being without a PC for the past couple years. Im now the proud owner of Surroundead, zombiod and M&B2 thanks to you.  I'm not mad but my wallet is

fun fact, on defensive sieges you can find piles of the rocks that are ammo for the catapults... well sometimes they will be basically bombs... you can pick them up and toss them at people below the battlements.... so much throwing XP....

Once you get the fire siege engines, defenses are insanely easy... and a lot more tolerable. Just yeeting the fire ammo is rewarding enough.

Once War Sails launches, the vanilla game will be receiving an overhaul. Part of the overhaul is late game content. Including win conditions!
