I used DynamicTroopReupload mod to make it so my troops could only wear gear taken from defeated enemies. Then used a troop editor to make a looter tree, so that everyone started wearing rags. Then did a looters-only game. it was really interesting to see looters turn into a mess of equipment from everyone we were fighting.

"Kinda wild to me, that we still have bugs like these, in a $50 game with $25 DLC..."

Let's be real here. If it wasn't for the absolute uniqueness of Mount and Blade, this game would be despised as an early access scam. The game, essentially, still is early access. At least from the standpoint of how well it's developed. The state of this game, for years, is why TaleWorlds will never be a properly recognized name, and will never be considered a great studio. It's a shame honestly.

The charisma required to recruit and lead men in combat when you have no weapons or clothes is substantial

I know it leaves me open to pretty much every type of attack, but I love just charging a line of dudes with a huge sword or axe and just wreaking havoc on enemy troops, combine it with the dismemberment mod and heal on kill and its amazing

I love crossbows in bannerlord. The skill that reduces cost of T5+ units by 50% makes huge armies of legionnaires cheaper than imperial veteran infantry

34:00 when a castle or town you control is sieged down and taken by an enemy you lose a ton of influence. Pro tip: Use the kingdom tab and give your fiefs back to the kingdom when they are besieged. Especially if they're crappy castles you don't want. The vote for the new owner allows you to gain some charm skill too by chucking the minimum influence into a vote for the new owner.

Negative influence happens when you commit some sort of crime that makes your liege look bad, the best example i know is attacking a settlement of a kingdom you're not at war with lands you like -100 or -250 influence

I think we have a very different experience with AI running sieges.

For me, the AI always sits and waits forever.

We massively outnumber the defenders. But the lord will keep spamming out catapults that get instantly destroyed by the 4 the defenders already have

Ahh yes, I too love to listen to thee alchemical courtship.

Im pretty sure you can pick up full stacks of arrows in siege battles on both sides, on the walls and behind these shields that the attackers always set up
