*NOTES & CORRECTIONS*
- OKAY SO as of 6.2 (Luna 3) the quest description HAS BEEN UPDATED (corrected) to say Dain merely held the gate open. Please do note that in 6.1 (Luna 2) the quest description in both English AND Chinese said he opened it. This was not a localization error, but an actual error with the source text.
Regardless of this inconsistency, I DO think it's important to consider the possibility that more people than just moons (or those with access to a moon's fragment) can open them... although they may not be "permitted" to do so.

- Some of the concepts I presented about the moons being related to the afterlife can be found in some reinterpretations of Plato's theory of the soul. I didn't realize this until AFTER the video was done so I strongly encourage anyone interested to read up on it. I'll probably add it to a later investigation too!

- Friend of mine (Kat) reminded me that the Gnosis are called "the seven remembrances" too which gives new meaning to the line from Jesus, "do this in remembrance of me." Ehe~

- I'm very sorry about the re-upload!! We had a perfect storm of technical difficulties, but they've been resolved now! I'm still getting used to new video editing software and the new export setting did NOT play nice with YT... and the AI upscaler made it worse. So that's turned off now. There does seem to be a couple of... oddities still in here, but I think I'm just gonna accept that this video is cursed.

she did it again, she found a way to mention Desheret

Celestia tried to keep us from hearing the forbidden moon lore

I laughed every time Sampo Koski appeared when you mentioned "the sampo" XD

Once again, I still think that Tholindis's Soul was the catalyst for Columbina's Birth. Typically, when someone in game was "Born 500 years ago" it's connected to someone dying 500 years ago.

So, this all comes back to Hoyo's first game, "Fly Me to the Moon"

I am also in the same line of thinking but branch in how Rerir ate Tholindis.

I think he ate her accidentally in the process retrieving his body. That is why he has fragments of Tholindis's memories when Nefer is looking into his memories.

Who doesn't love a cruel irony?

Another thing that I notice in the quest, Tholindia refers to herself as a happy Rabbit, and Rerir is depicted as a wolf in the chest piece kinda adds up

Three uploads for three Moons, it's poetry

Also, Ashicchino is peak

I wonder … the portal in Mondstadt that takes us to the Spiral Abyss, is that portal actually a Moon Gate, or something similar and therefore can inform us a bit more about Moon Gates?

With so many themes of Genshin rhyming, while we think the Heavenly Principles is punishing those who try to ascend from Teyvat, I keep going back to the microcosm in the prelude: Decarabian and Mondstadt- Decarabian created a city to protect his citizens from outside dangers, but kept them unaware of said dangers, so they saw it as a prison. Inazuma’s story reflects this as well, for progress moves away from the safety of stasis. Sumeru is a step further into the idea of taking knowledge too far… each nation’s theme goes a bit deeper to now we’re working directly with primordial powers and their consequences.

We’re still at our limitations of what the Abyss actually is and how Teyvat’s defenses, like Decarabian’s storm walls, are protecting us.

Ppl have been saying "Your body won't betray you" as a phrase to encourage body building and exercise.

Then Nibelung here literally got betrayed by their own bones.

I'm barely 90 seconds into the video and already I'm realizing that if moon gates also have a connection to the Abyss, then that could explain why Nabu Malikata was the one to provide Deshret with a path to forbidden knowledge...

Ah yes, it’s never an ashikai video without the mention of king deshret😂😂

Can't wait for the Tsaritsa and her thirteen flamechas... ehm Fatui to create an Elysium. I swear all these games are connected in the most interesting ways

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if passing through the "Moon Gate" is like passing by Cerberus as you reach the Underworld. I mean considering there are 3 moons which is similar to our 3 headed doggo and Cerberus main task was to ensure only the dead enter the afterlife along with ensuring that nothing leaves once they come though.

third time’s the charm !!😭

@ 13:41 ... you know what I just realized? kuuvahki is magnetism. compasses work on magnetism. seelies lead to treasure. compasses are used to find said treasure.

so Rerir ate, slayed, and devoured

The Aaru on top of the pyramid, the white hole that Deshret opened for his subjects to pass through to the afterlife is also a kind of Elysium. We closed it, but I wonder what the other side looked like.
