- It's been brought to my attention that I forgot to put the Wanderer>Descender theories I was referencing in my citations document. That's totally my bad! I had two documents sharing citations for this one and they got missed, so I've added them in the description box for easier access now!

It's still mind boggling to me that both Kaeya and Childe were released so early in the game and they STILL have lore relevance till the end. Genshin writers are insane to have so much faith in the game progressing so far as it did. I am so impressed.

5:21 Heeeeey. Eternal salt making machine. Wonder if Genshin has anything like that in game. Like made by a salt deity. And thrown into the sea. Maybe an old rock deity would know something about that. Wonder if he would know something about infinite gold, too.

Ok stop everything my novel has started.

All I'm getting from this is that joke Rasputin cover that Griffin Burns made may actually be canon. Tartaglia really is both Snezhnaya's greatest love machine and the lover of Snezhnayan queen.

26:03 Mr. Worldwide is now Mr. Lore-Wide 😎

My goat Ajax is finally getting the main lore channels attention, I couldn't be happier.

Wait is THIS why Childe got called a walking spoiler?! Bc they literally had all of this in mind from the start and while most of the information was only going to be drip fed to us over the course of years, one of the very first characters released was meant to be a parallel to ancient history who was going to be used to actually recreate that history?! Even Childe's job being undermined by a different (ex) Harbinger is foreshadowing Wanderer taking his role as the weilder of the Sampo!! That's...such a wild thing for a game company to pull 😂

31:15 Snezhnaya's chapter is called Everwinter without Mercy. Ever winter....

I understand storytelling, I understand how to write a good story, I always had teachers commend me for it and tell me to follow that skillset. But like...
HOW DO YOU DO THIS, like what Mihoyo does? How do you interweave DOZENS of stories into the SAME story, echoing over and over, and over again, and just keep weaving these stories together and just... unveal all this to the players slowly without ANY OF US figuring out the full picture?
I'm just...
The more Genshin goes on, the more baffled I am at it's story, because everything in the game feels so BLOODY deliberate. I swear, this game's plot must come from a literature nerd's passion project who's been working on this story for literal decades in their personal time.

The Sampo from the myth being lost in the ocean reminds me how we found Paimon in the water. 🤔

So that's why the Oratrice back in Fontaine judged Childe as.. Guilty..

I'm genuinely so happy that Childe has a possibility of being one of the most important characters in the lore! I mean, that man is also a walking death flag, but he's just so interesting to look at and just observe..

Remember back then during version 2.2 (Labyrinth Warriors), when devs said that Childe was a walking spoiler? That makes so much sense now.

Same name as 3rd descender (Ajax/Aias), has past encounters with a dragon (Neuvi), related with a sinner through his master (Skirk, whose master is Surtalogi), is a Fatui Harbinger so an absolute connection with the Tsaritsa, possibly will play a key part in project Stuja, and what else?

I can definitely say I'm hyped for him anr his possible lore/story implications.

"So everything is still related to simulanka?"
"Always has been"

Going off of the three stages of Ragnarok before the world is reborn, you can attribute each cataclysmic event in chronological order to the top 3 harbingers:

- The frozen world is created by Capitano, who wields cryo and froze the area around the throne in Ochkanatlan.  Of the three he has the least evidence but with how his "death" was handled I think its relatively safe to say that there's more to his story.
- The burning world is created by Dottore.  This one is pretty self explanatory considering the whole burning Irminsul thing.
- The flooded world is created by Columbina and her new moon.  Columbina is very obviously hydro-related considering her heels, and the moon is related to the tides of the world, which could be extrapolated to maybe a new moon rising causing a worldwide flood.

Technically if you wanted to go even farther and attribute the 4th step of the world being reborn to Arlecchino there are a few ties as well.  She's the 4th harbinger corresponding to the 4th part of Ragnarok, and her fire is able to erase memories from people, effectively "rebirthing" them.
Idk what this would actually mean in terms of the larger Genshin story but its a parallel that I noticed

Oh Childe Ajax Tartaglia you will forever be famous

42:21 Scaramouche screaming "That's mine!" as he reached for the gnosis brings new meaning.

Wow...

for your end part about wanderer, i think the reason he fits so many of the things is because dottore manipulated his life so that he would be a good test dummy to see if project stuzha was possible hence the entirety of the sumeru AQ plotline. wanderer was just the test run of project stuzha, once dottore saw it was possible he didnt care if scaramouche was successful or not, he just wanted to know if it was possible.

This video was very well researched. Must have taken a lot of Reeding to be able to put together something to informative.

Thanks for another banger.
