For anyone interested in the fungal mod, they have an INSANELY in-depth wiki that I highly recommend, at the very least so you can check out the other monster designs because they are sick

I NEED that CAKE

2:19 I find it incredibly weird that the person got so into modelling weapons and animations but didn't get a custom sign for the UNSC 😭

we ALL love the instantaneous no hesitation cake

5:20 that poor Creeper

its nice seeing him nerd out on halo a little bit, i honestly dont mind these different types of mods. i wonder if theres a halo-esque modpack we can see him play through as a series?

7:00 that's the gravemind talking to you which means it at least spawns in at tier 4 of the flood outbreak

Daiazal infection where infected mobs looks like daiazal and they all packin cake

Ah, Scape and Run. The mod that just... is powerbalanced around having other insane mods, making it near impossible to survive in vanilla...

18:47 Not the half life 1 scientist screaming sound effects bruh 😭😭

27:55 Fun fact: creepers, when affected by any potion effect, leave behind a lingering pool of that potion's effect when they die. It was added in 1.11.

ah, scape and run. the nemesis of every lategame rlcraft run (besides lycanites)

Yooo he scratching his buh

a REALLY good mod that does infection mods justice is the Sculk Horde, and I think it's arguably one of the most minecraft-y ones out there. I know it didnt make it into the video but I heavily recommend it.

4:36 I believe that was from the flood trying to infect you which is clearly succeeded in the second time

back in early 2021, a friend group i was in decided we wanted to have a modded minecraft server for us all, and for SOME REASON we added scape and run. this was way back before anyone commonly knew how it worked, so when we started finding the mobs, we thought it’d be cool to set up a “research facility” and feed them small mobs to see the different infected mobs and evolutions. OBVIOUSLY that didn’t go well with how the stages work in the mod, but we had no clue how it worked. fast forward a few days and it was too late, our facility was gone, our BASES were gone, it was a disaster. this was before the mod properly implemented stopping the infection spread, so there was nothing you could do. i still have the screenshots of the destruction. they haunt me. good times!

If you do a sequel to this video I'd suggest the sculk horde, it's an infection mod based of sculk that focuses more on taking land rather then constantly hounding the player with mobs, also as it gets stronger it starts doing things like raids on villages and trying to take out your base to make you lose progress on defeating it, also you can actually beat it and the method to defeat it requires you to do raids into the land it has taken to get materials, and you can also craft things that help you push back the horde and reclaim territory.
Plus you as the player controls when it starts, just go to deepslate at 0 0 and find the structure, which means you can choose to start it either once you've set up a bit, or right at the start.

24:42 making an underground base in SRP is a fucking DEATH SENTENCE.

First time i played this mod i decided that i wanted to make an "underground bunker", but soon i came to a realization that it was a bad idea because a new phase started and some bigass parasite came CRASHINg through the damn FLOOR and left my base in shambles

Some of these seem really interesting. One of my favourite ways to play modpacks is as a 'researcher', turning my base into a lab for studying whatever esoteric mod I have a focus on. Doing something like that with this could be very interesting
