every one of the bedrock datapacks has 3d models made by the most skilled low-poly designer you've ever met and game mechanics made by a man raised in a lightless cave with no technology who's only exposure to game development is watching 4 youtube kids minecraft horror shorts

You cant run from "1 in 10000 chance for withered foxy jumpscare every second" forever

Ok so a dweller is:
* tall and lanky
* fast
* powerful
* usually black
* watches from afar
* makes weird noises
* easily kills unprepared players, dies to boat cheese
* screams when aggroed
* chases you to death
* can sneak up on you

Endermen are dwellers

I think the issue that all of these add-ons will forever face is the fact that you have to comply with not only their weaker tools for modding the game. But also the fact that they have a significantly stricter thing they have to comply to if they want to actually put their thing up. As a perfect example, the full paid experience of Tinker's construct on bedrock versus the free version you can get on Java is night and day. And that's not counting all of the extra mods you can download on Java to make it even better. So sheer quality alone, bedrock just will not ever be able to compete even if it's comparing a high quality free version to a high quality free version.

The demographic for these is definitely young kids. When I was 7 and the game was still in beta I was scared of going mining because zombies and skeletons terrified me. I imagine if I saw a man from the fog I would shit myself no matter how terrible the addon is

Fun fact, the "Watchtower" isn't just a siren head mod because they actually charged you money for it so they cant use Trevor Henderson's works

Daiazal accidentally countered the man from the fog by putting a trim on his house, because the man from the fog can’t climb on the BOTTOM of blocks, only on the sides, like a spider.  I believe you’re supposed to scare him off with your flashlight.

Just playing bedrock is scarier than any of those horrors

That last addon was pretty sweet. Way more effort than an average mod, kudos to them. That last boss fight looked pretty cool. I wouldn't pay for it but at least it isn't just some garbage default mob that dies to a boat.

13:52 My dad walked around to my computer to look at the game I was playing and then as I was showing him my character he went "JESUS CHRIST!". I was like "what? what??". He points to my second monitor with your lovely mug and goes "thats not creepy at all..."

I swear to god, Daiazal gets more caked up every video

I feel like the appeal of Sirenhead as a horror creature is that you don't notice him appearing, typically because he stands among trees. So many horror mods are defeated in their scariness purely because the player is in a plains biome. That and seeing a Vox-ified sirenhead doesn't look remotely like a tree kind of defeats the point.

7:33, 6 stacks of arrows with an infinity bow😭

15:06 Oh thank god I thought bedrock had cursed wandering traders

The blinding effect wasn’t Blindness, it was Darkness, it only comes from The Warden but The Man From The Fog can do it too

Not the infinity bow while still carrying 6 stacks of arrows

One thing I don't understand in gaming, is why when given the chance to make money, modders will make absolute slop 80% of the time, but free mods are almost always great, with hundreds of hours of work dumped into them, all for a absolutely perfect mod that costs no money, while most of the bedrock marketplace is the same 2 dozen teen skins with slightly different color palettes and names

I feel like the wandering trader mimic shouldn't talk. Just make him identical to other traders until the player attacks a llama or him. That way the common trader villager disrespect is used as a jumpscare.
