We are tackling a tricky project today: hunting down a broken underground field tile that's making a muddy mess. To do it, we're testing out a brand new machine—the 20X Mini Excavator from Bull Equipment.One of our absolute favorite features right off the bat is its compact footprint. The 20X is small enough that we can easily fit it onto our standard trailer alongside our other tractors and attachments without overloading or running out of deck space.We put this machine straight to work trying to locate the source of our drainage headache: a failing legacy clay tile line. While the 20X did a phenomenal job digging a clean trench and handling the heavy wet soil, we eventually hit a wall. As you'll see in the video, the old clay tile was buried to deep. Even though the drainage issue isn't fully solved today, we still got a fantastic look at what this little machine can do when pushed to its limits.Throughout the project, we walk around the machine to share full specs, operational details, and our honest thoughts on how this unit performs compared to other compact excavators we've used over the years.
