Marvel wishes they could make a crossover as ambitious as Horrid Henry and Roly Mo

If there's anything the entire English speaking community can agree on, is that all of our accents can sound absolutely hilarious.

my (british) mam walked past me while i was watching this video and she pointed to my laptop and just said "she looks like a Fimble" so good job on that makeup

I like how Athena says she's going to make fun of british accents before doing the most american accent i've ever heard.

@ari_violet 2 years ago

As a Brit born and raised i encourage you to make fun of the accent, especially us northeners

ATHENA!! If you’re looking for weird ass British Tv! You NEED to watch Grandpa In my Pocket 💀💀

@morbidsearch 2 years ago

They're calling "mom" a butchering of "mum" when "mama" actually predates both of them by over a century.

Im not that far into the video but it sounds like a “fimbling feeling” is just stimming. If I had the ability to make sparkles come out of my fingers by wiggling them, I would do it constantly

As a brit myself I've never heard of half of these shows, lol. But if you want more wacky British shows I do suggest Numberjacks, Go Jetters, and Tree Fu Tom.

Scrolling through the comments looking for the 2 british people who genuinely had their day ruined by athena mocking that one commenter

Thank you Athena! As a british person this made me so happy! Dick and Dom had a huge huge cultural impact here, every child in the 00s was watching In da bungalow every weekend. I have so many early childhood memories of that show. Everyone would shout bogies so there were a lot of complaints into the show for their bad influence on kids, oops

I think you'd love the BBC childrens show 'Strange Hill High'. It's... certainly something.

The Fimbles are absolute icons

I'm not british but when you where confused about them calling rain boots "wellies" I realised that was a british thing

Athena, I hope you realize how much of an impact you have on your fans. I had to use every ounce of restraint in my body to not use the phrase “The titular Bitchular” in my university english essay 😭

"us brits don't mess around when you make fun of our voice"

speak for yourself mate, i find it hilarious when people take the piss out of my accent

As a linguistics nerd, I think it's so funny when British people get so defensive over their accent and accuse Americans of "ruining" English with how we speak it due to the fact that the English accent straight up did not exist until the 1800s, where it was purposefully invented as a way to distinguish between the Rich and the Poor (Rich people invented the accent to deter Poor people from trying to socialize with them) but then it backfired when the poor just also started talking like that (also, all the spelling differences between British and American English originated at the same time, British people started adding extra letters to words to justify their new pronunciations)
