This was more than helpful!!  I love how calmly you present everything; it was such a pleasure to watch and listen! You have pretty much hit a number of the struggles I'm having with "planning and journaling peace".  You've inspired me to have the freedom to do whatever I want with the pages I have.  Thank you so much!

I use the Moleskine Expanded and a journal similar to this too. Having separate journals for different things just doesn't work for me. And fancy or pretty journals make me too scared to use them lol. I have found peace in my Moleskine expanded. I journal, I draw, I plan, reading log, TTRPG journals, so many things! It's nice to see someone else works the same way as me, and I'm not the only one. It makes me feel so much more attached to my journal when it holds everything! I just use tabs to mark months and certain important pages. I have an index in the front, mainly to just record things.

I really appreciated this 🥹. I’m someone who wants to be a one book girl SO bad, but I struggle and end up with way too many notebooks that end up becoming so overwhelming and then I don’t use them lol. This was a great reminder that you can literally put whatever you want in your journal/planner on whatever page. It doesn’t have to be perfectly organized. Thank you for this! I hope to take these tips with me into 2027! 🫶🏻

I love the concept of an everything book. Lately I am using an a5 6 ring binder as my everything journal. I’ve put lined, dotted and blank paper in it so I can use whatever en whenever I need. My personal rings are for forward planning but my A5 is my home base

I've been doing the same thing! My life isn't very exciting, so I wanted a journal/scrapbook.  And not a boo-hoo fest every time I picked it up. More happy 😊 to focus on the positive things.

I wish I would have heard this before when I tried to get into bullet journaling and everyone was carrying on about collections and spreads. It was very overwhelming. But you gave some thoughtful insights into the benefits of having everything in one book. At some point I may get to that place but for now I am enjoying using a few (not many) planners just for the experience but having specific things in each journal which is very much like having a travelers setup. Thank you for this

I keep wanting to start a commonplace book, to write out my favorite passages from novels and poems i read, just to keep them all in one place, because now they are scattered around 101 volumes of the journals i have kept since 7 years old! I believe i am on volume 102 now, but need to re-count :)

Dayum those Moleskines are thiccc😆 love the idea of one book. I think what keeps me from doing that is the archiving & referencing. Pen+paper & the covers tend to pull me to the journal as well & prevents me from being bored. Love the vid💜

Great video
Thank you

Im just popping in to say...your thumbnail for yhis video is very artistic and inspired.

Love this insight into your process!

I did this for yeeaaaaars and in black softcover moleskins too! I'm now in a sterling ink b6 common planner because I got sick of drawing monthly/weekly spreads, but I live in the blank pages at the back. They are sooooo freeing... I add lists, notes, journaling, pictures, etc however I want. Best of both worlds - lazy for calendars, freedom for everything else haha

I guess I should ask is your everything book. It looks like it has stood up to the test of time. It must have a great bind

Very helpful! What make are these books? Thanks

Can I ask what is your “moment of presence” section?

This reminded of this video I came across last year ‘one notebook one life’

https://youtu.be/53ua4UEfJvA?si=FT6aBS0HQHEe3DOg

I gravitate heavily towards a blank notebook for journaling and since I want to have everything in one place I try to make planning work but I find I struggle when I don’t have designated areas or dates to write future things, and I don’t like lists all over my notebook because i won’t find them when I need to. I keep trying tho

Thank you sooo much. I got a lot of good ideas from this. May I ask you how did you get your photos to stay in your book? Glue or tape etc.?
