I had zero DIY experience when I started this project… and somehow ended up building a cosy micro camper on the back of a tiny Japanese Suzuki Carry kei truck.

This is the complete build from start to finish—every mistake, every win, and how I turned an empty tray into a tiny cottage camper that's bigger inside than it looks.

If you've ever dreamed of building a DIY camper, a kei truck camper, or creating a tiny home on wheels without being an expert, I hope this gives you the confidence to start.

In this video you'll see:

The full micro camper build from scratch
Planning the layout and storage
Building the cottage-style camper body
Kitchen, bed and finishing touches
The final reveal before my first overnight adventure

I'm learning as I go, so this isn't a perfect build—it's proof that beginners can build something they're proud of.

If you enjoy micro campers, kei trucks, DIY camper builds, tiny homes, cottagecore and slow camping, I'd love to have you along for the journey.
