There’s nothing quite like harvesting sweet corn straight from our own garden! 🌽 Today we’re bringing in a big harvest and preserving it for the months ahead.

Instead of blanching the corn first, we’re trying a method we’ve been using that involves freezing the corn in a brine. It’s simple, doesn’t require a big pot of boiling water, and makes preserving a large harvest a little easier.

Come along with us as we harvest our sweet corn, get it ready for the freezer, and share how we preserve it so we can enjoy that fresh-from-the-garden flavor later in the year.

Brine Recipe:  3 Cups Water, 6 Teaspoons Sugar, 3 Teaspoons Salt.

We'll also show you two of our favorite ways to eat corn on the cob.

Living on our 42-acre farm means there’s always something to harvest, preserve, learn, and enjoy. 🌱
