Our FINAL GARDEN HARVEST OF THE YEAR in Alaska! As winter approaches, we’re wrapping up another growing season here on our Alaskan homestead and getting the garden ready for the long winter ahead.

In this video, we harvest the last of our fresh parsley and carrots, clean up the remaining garden crops and scraps, and put everything we can to good use by feeding the leftovers to our pigs. Once the garden is cleared, we bring out the tractor and till the garden soil in preparation for next year.

But the work doesn’t stop there! We also get a head start on next year’s growing season by planting garlic in the fall and mulching it to help protect it through the cold Alaska winter.
