Funny thing about Huntsman spiders.
An Australian I worked with told me that if you run from a Huntsman, they will run after you, but not to hurt you.
To the Huntsman, you're obviously huge, and if something as big as you is running away, there's something horrible around that made you run and it should do the same if it doesn't want to die.

Wojtek, after the war was over was taken to a zoo in scotland where he became a local celebrity.

Bears are omnivors meaning they eat everything

From what I understand (I may be completely wrong though, so please don't quote me on this), the way the "scout bird" plan works for the emus is a very large male emu eats first, then he goes on scouting duty while the other emus in the flock start eating their fill.  The moment this male spots danger, he starts making this drumming noise in his throat, and when the rest of the emu mob hears that drumming noise, they understand that danger is approaching and they scatter.

Also, emus are actually very docile birds.  The only time they will attack a human is if they feel their young are in danger.  This, unfortunately, is NOT the case for the close relative of the emu that also lives in Australia:  The Cassowary.  Cassowaries are HIGHLY territorial and have no qualms whatsoever about attacking people for almost no reason whatsoever.

Well, all birds are dinosaurs, but the ratites just kept it super traditional. Fun fact: for the longest time, we thought the kiwi's closest relatives were the extinct moas, which are also from Aotearoa NZ, but it turns out that not only are the moas' closest relatives the tinamous from South America, but the kiwi's closest relative is the extinct elephant birds from Madagascar.

Fun fact bears aren't all omnivores the Polar Bear will absolutely hunt you down if nothing else to eat!! There's a saying “If it's Brown, lay down; If it's Black, fight back; If it's White, Goodnight!"

Woteck during his military days they had a german spy who infiltrated thier camp and he didn't know of woteck so when he was confronted with a giant bear in the shower he screamed like a girl which alerted the camp and revealed him as a spy cause not one of the soldiers didn't know of woteck
