We need good sword and sorcery more than ever. Conan's world is so cool.

I swear by Crom, we need a new proper Conan game. AAA budget single player RPG in the Witcher 3 style. Adapting the Robert E Howard's stories and turning them into quests. But nooo .. instead they spent 400 million dollars to make an Overwatch ripoff that had 600 peak concurrent players.

«Exiles» is a true sandbox with non-linear progression and complete freedom. It doesn't unnecessarily restrict players, allowing them to do whatever they please. «V Rising», on the other hand, offers a linear progression, with constant limitations and a singular goal: killing bosses (since there is simply nothing else to do otherwise). In terms of genre, the latter isn't the "better game", but quite the opposite, and that’s not even considering other aspects (like gear variety or customization options). I say this as someone who has dozens of hours in both (and even as a fan of classic vampire themes).

"you're not even listening to me arentcha? " (zooms at the ass) You got me here bro

Conan Exiles is unironically my favorite survival game of all time due to the massive open world, multiple dungeons, many bosses, lore, building, and almost Souls-like combat. In fact i spent 6 different play sessions that were each about 6hrs each, building a massive staircase down the side of a cliff just because i wanted easier access to certain resources, and i'd gladly do it again and again just for the fun of it.

Conan looks more like how frazetta drew him in the ps3/360 game

3:55 I feel personally attacked.

Gotta admit the Cimmerian has pretty impressive pixel art.

Good reviews, but Conan 07' isn't based on any movie.

you know..never realised how much they made akana look like Belit

I grew up playing the 1991 Conan as a kid but only remembered it like a fever dream. This is the first time seeing it in 30 years but I still think it looks amazing.

We really need a good Conan Souls-like.  Done by a studio that has a genuine passion for Howard's world, vision and storytelling.

If you got the PS3/360 physical version of Conan you also got a free comic book. Pretty cool

Know oh prince...

Ahhh Age of Conan!
So many good memories and good people.
As someone who doesn't like online games, I had a good time back then.

Getting to the Gateway to Khitai and seeing the great wall for the first time was a magical moment.

I really love the world of Hyborea and the Conan universe.

I played conan exiles a lot
It is a really nice survival game if you like the classic gathering resources loop, but without friends it gets a bit boring quick

16:00 The look of Conan shown in that game is how he is described in the original books written by Robert E. Howard. Its also the look of Conan popularized in the 1970s before the 1980's movie.

Also in Conan Exiles, the basic map you play in (Exiled Lands) can get quite bland (at least it did for me after about a thousand hours of playtime), though it does get better the further you progress in it. But for the real experience you need to play the Steam version so you have access to the maps on the Workshop. Community maps such as Savage Wilds, Isle of Man, Isle of Women, and Legend of Shem are amazingly done.

Fun fact Ron Pearlman played Conan's in The Conan the barbarian movie in 2011.

He doesn't look like Arnold, because Arnold doesn't look like Conan.

I love Conan!
