You definitely don’t know me yet, since this is my first Skyrim video that I’m posting, but my name is Th0m9z, and I like playing games and telling stories. This video is something that I have been working on a lot over the last few months in preparation to put a cool, somewhat cinematic, and actually pretty difficult challenge out.
My challenge was fairly simple, create a new Skyrim character, and get all 15 Daedric Artifacts at a relatively high difficulty, with survival mode on, with only one life (AKA Permadeath). On top of that, I thought it would be quality content and enjoyable to watch (maybe not so much to play with lol) if I added a bunch of debuffs to myself to make it harder. The debuffs are all from a mod called “Realm of Lorkhan”, which lets you choose an alternate starting point of the game, on the mod page you can see all the curse debuffs that I chose, which make it pretty tough starting out, and made me have to figure out a way to play around my strengths and weaknesses, of which I mostly had weaknesses. Okay okay yeah I know that's not EVERY debuff, but hey it's pretty hard and I challenge you to try it.
It kind of started just to see if I could even do it because it seemed like something that would just induce rage and have a steep learning curve to figure it out. Something about me is that I love a good challenge. So I recorded myself doing it with the hopes of perhaps turning it into a video, and then it turned into a passion project that I really wanted to share. I put a lot of effort into this, but there’s no way to guarantee if anyone will really watch it, regardless, if even one person out there sees this and is inspired, or finds it mildly amusing, then I’d say I achieved my goal.
