Imagine if they'd actually agreed to meet at the zoo. Dave's wife could have gone there and then the real Dave Gorman could have swept in and met her right in front of the fake Dave Gorman!

The slide transition from green screen to green screen lol

Anyone else like trying to see how early you can spot a found poem coming? I think I got my pb in this ep

I cannot thank the random unnamed intern who has been given the job to upload these enough

I have a story in relation to those flag-rules. I live in the Netherlands and closeby is a Thriftshop.
After Trump got elected, it was like the entire Netherlands decided to get rid of their American flags.
I personally wonder why they had them in the first place, but I guess that'll stay a mystery for all of us.
A woman (let's call her Anice) was working in the thriftshop, when she received all of the flags.

Now, I was allowed to go backstage a lot, either to use the restroom or to pre-view items that they got, because I'd always bought items there and they knew me well.
When I visited that day, she took me by the arm and showed me the enormous amount of leggings, glasses, bags, shoes, pillows, boxing-gloves, scarfs, hats, pants and flags in general. Even some Confederate-flags and beltbuckles.

She was busy putting everything in the shop, but after a week, she sighed; 'Nobody wants to buy anything with that flag on it.'
I didn't really know how to help and she pointed at a very long scarf with the stars and stripes on it, that hung around the neck of a figurine.
"Look", she said. "That scarf, with the "fashionable" rough edges....it's been on there for a week. Nobody wants it."
She took a deep breath, grabbed her pair of scissors, stepped towards it and without a word, she started cutting the stars from the scarf. With all the frustrated passion in her, she tore it off and left the scarf hanging, throwing the stars in the bin on her way back.

Within a few minutes, a woman walked past and said; 'Oh..how lovely, a red-striped scarf. Is that new, Anice?"
"Yes", said Anice. "It's so...French!" the woman said. I held my breath and the woman took it from the figurine and bought it.

After this, Anice started being creative with all the stuff she received. Sometimes red-white-blue items could simply be parted with their "USA!" labels and become Dutch items. Like plastic-medals or children's toys in red-white-blue, or those ribbons, they put on the wall. Or you turn them 90 degrees and you have a French Flag.
And when I asked her where all the American-flag-pillows went, she whispered; 'I stuffed them into other pillowcases."
So there are people, that currently have old, discarded American-flag-pillows in their household, without knowing it.

This will always be one of my favourite shows to go back and watch over and over again...Shame it took so much work to make them all...I would have so loved at least one more series, or a Christmas special or some sort of special...

The "Mel" logo looked like it should be on a hotel in the Costa del Sol.

i see you teared up a bit at the end there Dave.. awwww :-)

I mean being upset that the talent show included 3 dogs instead of 2, would be like getting upset at the fact that a magician didn't actually use magic.

“I pay my ITV licence fee in good faith”....

I had just stood up to carry leftovers to the kitchen and almost fell over from how this doubled me over.

Awww I love his love for Mrs Gorman 🥰

I say it every time I watch one of these - I love the theme music. I just hum it all day long.

I always feel lied to while watching this show. There were a number of times where he presented funny things that someone did online, only to expose that, in fact, it was him all along...

The gag about wiki-sites and "wiki wiki Wild wild West" is awesome (at 5:40) LOL

15:14 is one of my favourite moments from his whole show

I could see Dave Gorman running around yelling “Ou est Dave Gorman/Ed?”
Just for the precious memories

34:25 - that high pitch laugh is amazing.

He might not have deleted him account, he might have just unmatched / blocked you - I wonder if he's seen this 😂

I remember seeing this on Dave at the time, and I really thought 'Ed' would turn out to be his wife pranking him. 🤣
It was kinda disappointing to find out it was a just a catfish scam, but then again who else would blatantly steal someone's photo for their profile?
Obviously you're not going to do that if you have any intention of ever meeting anyone from Tinder in real life.

It's brilliant to have all these MLIG episodes on Youtube, I'm currently working my way from start to finish.
Dave is a quiet comedy genius, it's really clever stuff that sort of creeps up on you then whacks you right in the funny bone.
He's the absolute master of the callback, it's always hilarious when he eventually drops the punchline.
I can see why he stopped making it after 6 series - the amount of thought and work in every episode must have been phenomenal.

Thanks for the laughs, Dave. Much needed. 😁
