Dave's explanation of how buying more combs is worse for you has genuinely stuck with me ever since I saw this episode. I now find myself thinking "but do I really need twelve combs" when weighing up what's a better deal

Despite having seen this the first time around, I still thought at the end that Mrs G was going to say 'look what I bought on ebay' and pull out 3 peelers...

Dave: "Nice to meet you, Rich"
Dave a few questions later: "You are the problem with society!"

Spotted the legendary Jay Foreman in the audience at 10:57!

Giving away the money to the richest person in the audience is lowkey one of the funniest moments from the entire series

that pointy handled comb would make a perfect letter opener,

The wealthiest guy looks so sweet. I think he was trying to avoid saying his actual job title. I wonder if he's a retail pricing actuary

I'm 100% behind the concept of a shitting hat. If nothing else it would serve as a reminder for people to keep the toilet lid down.

You would want something you can launder regularly, though.

Things I have found out about Dave - he is tight with money, also Dave - will spend any amount if money to prove a point!😂

Even after that he's ended up with one comb he doesn't want.

Is anyone else wondering why he didn't sell the spare sink strainers?

That wealthy man looks a nice chap

What on earth would be the reason for people to buy more of something (eg Combs) than they want?

Anyway, must go because my local store is selling five garden gnomes for the price of four. Then, if I ever buy a house with a garden, I will have saved some money.

The Free peeler bit was way too good

The envelopes with the clear part are useful for example in companies and such where they have to mail out a lot of letters to their clients. Instead of addressing each letter by hand or printing or stamping on every envelope, they will print the mailing info on the blank side of the letter and put it in in a way that it will be visible through the clear part. Where I live they do this with letters from the bank, letters about taxes etc, but the "window" is smaller. That big of a clear part seems like overkill but then again - it might have uses.

Sweet. Making a cuppa for this.  🔥

If this episode taught me anything, it's that Mrs. Gorman is a keeper

To be honest, I like to keep a comb in every suit and jacket, so I could see a point to getting so many combs. Not those gaudy colors, though.

I'm so happy these are all online. It's exactly what my depressed, stuck in lockdown self needs!

The cushion is for hitting you if you snore, hog the covers or moan someone else's name in your sleep.
