I heard all about Dave Gorman's cryptic crossword experience on one of his wonderful new episodes of Modern Life Is Goodish.
I know the comedy answer has to be to choose to fart the Blockbusters theme - but as a cat lover, currently with three very loving ones as pets, I'd have to choose the cats!
Lockdown was great for some/tragic for others... unfortunately I had to keep working, no furlough/sunbathing/Netflix for me!
Best thing was driving on almost empty roads - a half hour drive took 10 minutes without exceeding speed limit.
That was the 1970's and 1980's. And nothing more grand than the daily crossword in The Sun newspaper. And I doubt I could get any answers correct in any crossword these days. My brain has been fried from over 40 years of constant video game playing. It is to my eternal credit that I managed to take 15 years out to get married and produce a son and a daughter.
Though really i listen mostly on spotify now. is that good or would you prefer acast?
