"it's not about selling, it's about connecting" such an amazing eye opener

I am 80 years old and have cognitive and some physical disabilities. I started painting for the first time to distract my mind from pain.Without taking art classes since I can't really leave my home.  I have not worked in 17 years and need to earn an income. Your video is helpful. I will watch it again and take notes this time. Thank you.

With the explosion of AI generated art, I think human created art, regardless of medium, will become rarer, more inventive, and ultimately valued higher. It will take a while. We are still at the start, so it is fluctuating,  but human psychology won’t change. At the end of the day, humans love to collect rare things.  We assign a greater value to anything we perceive as rare or special. People pay more for handmade things already.  It will be a matter of marketing, but artists will gain even more clout with the technology boom.

Ultimately, it’s about turning up and being authentic.

I was skeptical, but this is actually excellent advice for finding buyers appropriate to your artistic focus and goals.

I completely agree with your first point about your self image as an artist. When you recognise its who you are, all the external validation starts to slip away and you create purely through integrity. Its like an insatiable thirst, an endless well of creativity. Its not just giving yourself permission, its accepting and rising to your calling

It’s not often that I will watch a video like this all the way through… You’re authenticity shines through very strongly.… I’ve often wondered how I could get the story behind my  art appreciated by the right people. Thank you for inspiring me to do that again.😉🕊️✨🙏

This video is absolutely fantastic, thank you so much for sharing it! ❤I'm in Switzerland too, and your story really resonates with me—I'm just starting my own journey of transitioning from an office job to a career in the art world.

This video is full of golden nuggets and really presented in a clear way. Your backstory about your childhood just made me want to hug you. Thank you for sharing your advice and your vulnerability.

This video showed up in my feed and I'm very glad. There are so many art gurus advising on how to sell your art. Some are great advisors and some are just on YouTube because they aren't successful with actually selling their art pieces, so they're trying to teach other people how to sell. It's easy to tell who is genuine and who is not. I totally resonate with your spirituality aspect of art because I've always told people that creating my art is very spiritual to me. I'm self-taught and have sold a lot of pieces to friends, but never to a stranger yet. I'm at the point where I need to be serious about selling it because yes, I need the income. I'm 72 so I don't have a lot of years left to get this show on the road. LOL. I plan to watch all your videos.❤

Even your microphone is very creative 😃

I really enjoyed listening to you.  Helpful information.  I’ve saved so I can watch again.

Great advice!  Thanks for sharing your experiences and being so open talking about pricing and the importance of connecting to your artistic vision and the creative community.

THANK YOU for super helpful video! I love your authenticity and solid information. Having my art revolution right now (trauma has blocked my art for years) and I KNOW I'm supposed to be getting my art out into the world including selling it. THANK YOU for creating a straigt forward platform and steps. Will be checking out your work!

I never sold an art work befor this has made me consider it

Thank you so much for this video! The best ‘real’ advice on how to sell my art. May the Creator continue to bless you.

Your honesty and openness is really inspiring.Thank you

I love that I saw this on my feed. Thank you! You give me hope. ❤
