Very helpful, thank you. Could you please make another video about how you package your paintings to send to buyers please.

There's a woman in town who likes to say she runs a gallery, but it's really a place where you do those paint and wine parties. Nothing wrong with those, but call it what it is. Well she wanted to sell my art so one of my questions was how she determines pricing because she didn't have prices on anything. I kid you not, her response was "depends on what type of car the customer drives up in or what they've paid before" best believe I ran as far from her "gallery" as I could!!

Excellent ideas and advice, thanks. I'm not an experienced fine artist but am getting back into art in my old age 😉 However, I have a lot of experience in the commercial world and would add a couple of potential revenue streams: 1) Limited Editions (make money several times over from one work and reach a wider audience); 2) Merchandise that carries your art - these days you can get short runs on many suitable products you could sell to your client base via your website (to people that just want to buy say a notebook, or jigsaw, not art per se, so a new fan base and revenue stream), and 3) Licensing your art to a third party publisher or manufacturer - again, making money from one image several times over (even while you sleep) from say greeting cards, calendars, tin ware, ceramics, etc. Cheers from the UK!

Really good presentation. As an artist and an art collector myself, I get extremely frustrated when galleries and artists do not list prices on their websites. I immediately get turned off if I have to send an email to ask about pricing. I can’t figure out why galleries and artists want to make it difficult for collectors to purchase their artwork.

This was invaluable Trisha, thank you!
Just a had a birthday and all I could think about was how much I’d rather be getting up in the morning to create in my studio than go to work at my office. So that did it for me and 2 days later I find your video with a beautiful roadmap to point the way. Who knows what this year will bring? But whatever it brings, it is because I showed up for what’s important and that’s all that matters

Thankyou, straightforward and easy to understand ❤🎉

Thank you for sharing all these tips in one presentation ❤ very useful and comprehensive.

Such a great information. Thank you!

I used to work with oil and acrylic with big canvas. Sold few of them but as I start getting into my 60 now, I change to digital art to make life more easier as I don’t have big house like I used to have. I have over a dozen of artworks in my collection but have never done anything with them. You have inspired me to start a website now. Thank you.

Thank you your artwork is beautiful and you presented this so well!

love your work

Great advice-thank you!!!

Wonderful advice. Than you.

Love this, no hype and actual results. Thanks

Good advice! It is what I plan on doing. I can also see that many people are doing this. Which means more people are leaving the galleries. We had a very high end gallery that closed after 30 years. They were steadily losing money and it was just  unsustainable. Funny thing is they had been very selective at picking artists and were very snobbish over say someone like me with no art degree. They only selected  those that had art degrees and/or were say university faculty members. Well they have no one to blame, but themselves in my opinion. 😊

Thank you so much !  THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL ❤

Great video Trisha. very useful and full of good information on how to sell your art and make a living as an artist.
