UPDATE: Threw out all these useless stuff (everything in your closet) and kept only the important things (hats). You're welcome!

Me cosplaying as Senshi from Delicious in Dungeon: "oh, I had a different idea in mind"

Pseudodragons deliver all the mail in my world. Whenever the players get a letter I tie a scroll to a model pseudodragon I made and toss it at them

I have an upcoming bronze young dragon npc who has been disguised as the ship’s cat of a local airship for many years. Really excited when “Able Tom,” the friendly tabby cat that hangs around the docks sometimes suddenly gets the opportunity to change to her true form and the party finds out the real reason why no ship has ever crashed while the cat is aboard.

getting hit with the "just in case you've relegated me to second screen content today" as i was dragging the window over to my second screen is as seen as i have ever felt

"Like billionaires, but less destructive."  Nice one ;)

I agree - dragons CAN be a girl's best friend! 😘

My party recently had to save Cinderax the ancient Bronze Dragon from an evil princess. It was super fun to flip the tropes.

The "swatting at a fly" bit made me think of a dragon who sees humanoids like I see flies. Unpredictable things that I'm a bit freaked out by but somehow have a great deal of sympathy for, so I'll try to shoo it out of my home as I try desperately not to hurt it, and getting increasingly frustrated when it doesn't leave.

I had a player play a dragon rider ranger that basically had to raise a young wyrmling red dragon. They ended up becoming the kid of the group in the adventure and the ranger became its dad. The dragon ended up treating the party like a bunch of aunts and uncles, it was awesome and adorable. It was especially fun when the dragons older brother ended up being one of the campaigns BBEGs. :)

" just in case you've relegated me to second screen content"
me: a spoonful of rice halfway to my mouth while playing the critically acclaimed mmorpg on my main screen, staring at second screen Ginny for calling me out

"Sometimes Karma comes in the form of a breath weapon"

Best line ever.

I want to make an Ancient Pink Dragon that collects jokes. It will kill the party if they cannot make it laugh.

4:00 game of thrones has a really interesting bit of world building about this: a dragon will turn towards a whip crack, which is the opposite of what prey animals like horses or cattle do.

One of the things about Eberron I adore is that dragons are not color-coded for your convenience.  It's an aspect that I enjoy using in all my games, for dragons and otherwise.  That doesn't mean none of my red dragons are evil, but neither are they limited to one alignment.

One of the funniest reactions I've gotten to one of my NPCs is a dragon who was a total fashionista. Loved clothes and the entire concept of fashion more than anything. Describing him wearing beautifully artistic silks, furs and other rare fabrics 404'd most of the group. Or maybe it was that the reaction to their intrusion in his lair was to be delighted and to rope them into being an audience for him to show off his favourite wearables. Also might have been that he was a white dragon, an obviously very atypical one (and hence the lack of opportunity to engage in his hobby). He was fun, and a source for a lot of side quests (searching for samples of rare dyes and materials, setting up meetings with various artisans/merchants, and so on). That campaign fizzled out, but not before the party helped him get legitimate ownership of a large clothier's shop. Boy, the session where he moved in to that small city was a chaotic mess of the party running around keeping a panic from starting, all while he obliviously looked over the business, connected suppliers and (understandably terrified and very confused) employees. It became a running joke for the rest of the campaign to recommend his shop to out-of-towners.

“That dragonology book” awakened some memories that were buried DEEP

I was genuinely in the middle of the Dragon Week: Monday playlist (great job in Dragons are a Girl's Best Friend! Had a lot of fun with that one) when I got this notification and paused the playlist to listen. Monster Week is fabulous. Thank you for collaborating to put it together!

The starting BBEG in my current game is an ancient red dragon who disguises himself as human and has almost singlehandedly kept the town he lives in from falling to ruin for centuries. He feels like he "owns" the place and runs the banking trade in the town to increase his hoard, skimming all the investments that flow through his bank. He's like a godfather type figure and also runs the underworld in the town.
