I love the look of the remarkable paper pure but refuse to pay 10% of the devices price per year to use the basic built in features.

@johnathanmeerfeld4677 4 months ago

Fantastic! Really, really good content and a great debate. Love it.

@eReadersForum 4 months ago

Hahaha, that was really great and funny! Thank you guys!

Love this content. VI is not on my radar because I stay as far away from AI assistants as I can.

@ashleighmariesun9166 3 months ago

I bought the Viwoods twice. I returned it the first time because its software was still immature and didn’t have the features I wanted. I repurchased when they released an update that intrigued me but ending up returning it again when I realised that most of their features use AI to process and need an internet connection to work. That was a deal breaker for me. I think the ability of a device to work offline with minimal disruption to work flow is important.

@brendakirk7250 3 months ago

lol, yes! I am from Iowa and the Pork-T is our goto. We have some of the best.

@Rockero562 4 months ago

I agree with David's list

@mau915 4 months ago

Y'all be careful, Dave is going to show up with his big red ❌️ in your comments in the future! 😂 But this has been great to watch. Really enjoyed the vibes.

The more app and ai based e-inks just just push me back towards iPad with a good paper style screen protector. They just make me want to use the available features but they don’t work as well as a proper tablet.

I realise I want an e-ink to remain a lot more simple for a reason. I’m leaning more towards the scribe as it’s so simple and distraction free, though I wish hyperlinks were more accessible so that ‘to do’s’ and action points could be attached to other documents a bit easier. Even just copy and paste between documents would be really helpful.

battery of 5c is awfull tho, great in other cases, and they fixed the pen magnets, so no more collision with volume button, and i really think that all that devices can be easily #1, its just depends on using scenarios. And i like those big boox devices, that size is cool, so maybe i even buy one for scetching only

Excellent

My Remarkable 2 always loses my notes!

@notaprofessionalJ 4 months ago (edited)

no livechat replay?! also you were right about the 855 in the TUCP being the generation before the 8 Gen 1, and both of those predate the 7 Gen 2 and 8 Gen 2 which are the beginning of when modern NPUs usable with on-device AI frameworks were included in the silicon. the QTS6690 (which is actually from a different IoT-oriented branch of the Snapdragon family) that's gone into the Note X6 is from the 7 Gen 2 lineage, I think.

@rodrigocastillo204 4 months ago

Can we say it is the top one video of the year so far??

@Alburak66 4 months ago

I rely on Dave and follow his advice, sorry Kit 😜

@RosV-vn7dx 4 months ago

I think Kit’s top 10 list wins, because Dave made his list based almost entirely on his own use case. Kit made his with the help of his viewers, and the list thus covers more bases for lots of use cases.

@amynoack1548 1 month ago

Has the Boox Note Max received the full updates to 4.2 or 4.2.1? I’m concerned that it might be a lagging product that they won’t be introducing helpful updates with.

@scottwithington9933 1 day ago

Kit is that a commodore t-shirt?

@goldengibson1958 3 months ago

Would love to hear your thoughts on the new update to SuperNote 1.1.78 which adds pencil tilt shading, and layers opacity. How does this stack up against ReMarkable pencil tool in practice?
