I gave it a look and the show has surprisingly good writing. Shows the people working on this were actual sonic fans too.

7:39 Tails tried to clone himself but each got 1/5th of his intelligence.

Funnily enough, when Knuckles says he can’t sweat due to a glandular problem, he’s technically being scientifically accurate. Echidnas and their platypus cousins lack sweat glands, but can “sweat” milk from their teatless underbellies. … Yes, this implies that Knuckles’s species lays eggs, which IRL Echidnas actually do.

That laugh is infectious 😭
haAH haAH haAH haAH 💀💀💀

The one with the guy in the sonic costume saying "oops, one too many":  The whole show was an inception sort of premise where they'd been going into progressively deeper dream-within-a-dream type setups.  At the end they find a way to back out of the fantasy worlds, except they backed out one too many and wound up in the real world -- that's Sonic's voice actor in the costume.

The knuckles feminist quote is my favorite quote from the whole show

Tails was Spelling Interfacing

Also The orange is named Sticks the Badger and she's a crazy conspiracy theorist

1:35 of course Mochi couldn't find her retainer, it was traded for Remielle.

16:51 This one is a reference to The Princess Bride, where after a battle/conversation with Fezzik (played by Andre the Giant) that he wins with a sleeper hold, the protagonist states: "Sleep well, my friend, and dream of large women."

11:00 Fun fact: Knuckles actually said "...with me'm! Approved!" in this scene, because he was responding to someone basically saying 'With whom do I speak with?'

So being the lovable dope Knuckles is, he simply decided to add an extra M to the word 'me'.

19:49 Fun fact: This is just Roger doing vocal exercises lmao

14:32 Of course Tails is American, his name is Miles not Kilometer...

The sounds that Sonic was making in the clip right before the tea party clip was Roger Craig Smith's actual voice warm up for when he's about to voice Sonic the hedgehog

10:35 - Love the matching poses.

I'm just so addicted to how she laughs! It's just like Pekora! <3

"volcano wonderpants" was sonic's attempt at confusing Shadow long enough for Sonic to run.  It worked

Something funny happens or is said
Mochi: Happy seal noises

It's adorable.

This show was originally gonna be more serious and action focused, but the games flopped, HARD, so they were pretty much given free reign to screw around.

It's like the Sonic equivalent of the infamous Ghost Stories dub, except this time it's actually because the original media flopped.

In Sonic Boom, the main cast are exaggerated parodies of their typical character traits.

Sonic goes from a confident, to borderline cocky, hero with a bit of a attitude to a snarky asshole with probably an undiagnosed case of ADHD.

Tails goes from a mechanical genius, who admittedly struggles with his moments of weakness to a complete NEEEEERRRD!

Knuckles goes from a strong, hothead, who is admittedly pretty naive at the worst times, to a room temperature IQ meathead, though in a surprisingly charming way.

Amy goes from the cheerful and hyperactive busybody to "the girl."

Eggman is surprisingly unchanged, though he was definitely reworked to lean more into "cartoon villain," than "cartoon evil mastermind" to better fit the tone of the show.

Sticks is an OC made for the games and show. She's a crazy conspiracy theorist, so anything goes with her.

19:42 So for that clip specifically the show runners thought it'd be funny if they put Sonic's VA Roger Craig Smith's vocal exercises into the show
21:08 that is also the VA in a Boom Sonic cosplay
