15:15 For context, that is Roger Craig Smith's vocal warmup. The show writers decided to record it and use it for an episode lol

"Let's act out my Sonic fan-fiction" You could add a horror sting to that and it would function as a youtube short

Love how Sticks is an unhinged anti-government conspiracy theorists in a kids show.

15:16 Allegedly, this was Sonic's VA doing vocal warmups, and the showrunners thought it was funny, so they had the animators put it in the show.

1:00 Some context for this 'out of context' video, in the episode Tails decides to build a device that splits himself into several copies in order to achieve more with extras helping him, but the unintended consequence is that the device splits his genius intelligence amongst the copies, making them all dumb enough to enjoy licking the walls.

"They're stealing the water to sell it back to us!" Didn;t know Nestle was in this universe.

Knuckles the Echidna: Approver of memes, an honest feminist, and an absolute treasure

0:35 The Sonic community has basically been at war with YouTube kids for quite a while now.

Because YouTube keeps incorrectly categorising all Sonic related content as “suitable for kids” even though most of the fan made content clearly isn’t suitable for kids.

So basically everyone who makes Sonic related content keeps having to put stuff in their videos such as swearing for example. Just to prevent YouTube from categorising their videos as YouTube kids videos.

6:33 - the Tails VA actually did a line read of that for an interview, it was peak

4:56 - Just a bit of context here, Knuckles isn't actually just randomly saying the word "meme". In this episode he was filling in as mayor for the day, the beaver asked "With whom do I speak about adding a new wing to the library?" and Knuckles replied "With me'm!"
7:50 - In the full clip, they're playing Soccer and Amy monologued "It all comes down to this one penalty kick! Can the young woman break the glass ceiling and prove once and for all that a female is just as good as a male?" prompting Knuckles' response.

20:56 Subtle joke I love. Knuckles is the only echidna left, so there’s nobody else it could possibly be.

Sonic Boom is definitely something that aged like a fine wine 😂 some things just become better after a few years

Sadly there was only 2 seasons.. luckily each season is 52 episodes

9:10 I love how we’ve come full circle to this with the “Load-Bearing Goku” in Guilty Gear 😭

This is actually Mike Polluck’s (voice of Eggman) favorite Sonic cartoon. Mainly much because it was primarily a comedy/sitcom. SEGA just gave the cast the go ahead to do literally whatever they wanted for the English dub. And it was hilarious😂

18:17 for me it looked as though sonic was getting angry at his voice actor for stumbling over whatever line rather than frustration over him stumbling over his words, for some reason that's what the scene felt like to me visually

This show is a good example of what happens when the writers are little.. Too aware.

8:42 Apparently it was canon during development of this show that Knuckles level of stupidity was the kind where he'd keep getting dumber over time until his intelligence underflowed and circled back to being "Smartest in the room" levels of Smart briefly from time to time. So this was almost certainly one of those moments.

Sticks is literally my spirit animal. Or... just literally me.
And I'm sorry Jim Carrey, but... this is my favorite Eggman.

from what I've heard this was given the "ghost stories" treatment namely game flopped in japan so they told the animators/voice actors for this to do go wild with it and make it sell this unhinged chaos is ofc the result
