Ok, ok….FINALLY, a reactor pays attention to that line, “loosen the noose on the rope”. That line brought me to my knees and so many overlook it. I love having discovered your channel. Renegades will flood your channel for more Ren reactions. You’re sensitive, smart, and open. That’s what draws so many to this artist. MORE!!!

There are not adequate words to describe the talents of Ren. I have lived with crushing depression most of my life, and I am 72 years old now. I was in a very dark place when I first found Hi Ren, and I wanted to end my pain, finally and totally. This young man, with this song, made me "loosen the noose on the rope". It has changed my life. I encourage you to check out Ren's back story with his misdiagnosis, his years of struggling with physical and mental health, his loss of a close friend by suicide at a young age, in order to really appreciate what he has been able to do with his God-given talents, and what an impact he has had on so many lives. Then watch the video he made as a "thank you to one million subscribers" on YouTube. Then you will see what a beautiful soul this man has. You are also about to experience the community of Renegades--- the community that is full of some of the most loving and caring people God ever created. This was a great reaction, and I look forward to watching your journey down the Ren rabbit hole. Thanks, and Peace Brother.

This is what Sinead O’Connor posted after seeing Hi Ren, two months before she passed:

“Holy motherfuckin SHIT! Someone just showed me this at the weekend. This Archangel from like, twelfth heaven or somewhere, has only gone and made the entire history of songwriting and performing look like a three year old's
birthday party at Burger King.”

You have no idea what you have just unlocked. They say there’s life before Ren and life after Ren.

About 99% of reactors appreciate Hi Ren, but there are levels of appreciation. It is always so satisfying to see someone who I can tell recognizes the genius of Ren as much as I do. I will enjoy seeing your Ren journey. ❤❤❤

Suggest you watch the 13 minute tales of Jenny and Screech with violets tale. If you want to see the genius of his story telling you won’t be disappointed. Also you will find REN’s fans will come out in droves to watch. We adore this man for being the voice of the forgotten.

If youre a writer??? Ren is for you. Not one lyric is on accident. Nice to meet you 😊 youre in for a treat with everything he does, everyone he collabs with and everyone he promotes. Violinist that can kinda sing, song writer/rookie composer here- hes got more talent in his pinky than any of my top tier idols before finding him

I've watched HUNDREDS (maybe even THOUSANDS?) of these... and it hasn't gotten old yet... Great video! ❤ (We have all gone down the rabbit hole, and many of us will stick around to watch you go through that journey! It's the gift that keeps on giving!!) ❤❤

"I wasn't expecting..." must be the most common phrase I hear in every Ren reaction.
Welcome to the cult.

I love when reactors first encounter Ren and say 'I'm ready'...No, you're not. Welcome to Ren. Always nice to welcome a new Renegade

"I am calm and I'm ready." Oh how I wish I could watch this for the first time again, but watching reactions is the next best thing

@jennasharp8536 9 months ago

P.s. Something else that has become a bit of a phenomenon is watching Ren reactions! I like to call it my guilty pleasure 😊 Never even watched any before Ren. Now I cant get enough and many others say the same.

17:21 REN is a modern day Bard

3:17 I love this moment when reactors still think this this video is going to be about the music.

I deal with depression and this inner voice that says you are not good enough since I can remember. After hearing this song I was crying for days and all of the sudden I found myself above all that darkness, standing on a hill with a little light and a little flag which says: human being.

@marjaoudega 9 months ago

I love that you pick out the line about hope. Lots of reactors skim over it, perhaps because it's so visceral. Thank you!

I'm 66 years old now, and no artist has captivated me more than Ren. I first heard Ren exactly three years ago, and I haven't stopped since. Buckle up and enjoy!

Oh boy, I thought this was his Magnus opus but it was just the start of what this lad does.
Blows my mind, I think he is a generational talent.
Definitely go down this rabbit hole because he moulds every genre along the way.

Good timing. Your video posted on the third anniversary of the release of Hi Ren. I'll let the other Renegades provide direction and lore. Hope you elect to watch more Ren. He has a vast catalogue of amazing music with more coming out over the course of the next year.
