Thanks again Mike. This was fun. And thanks to all of you for your kind words, encouragement and support. You are good people! ❤🙏

They got kicked out by the building janitor after the 4th take, Ren didn't think they had it good enough and he also thought it was a last chance to do it as he left for Canada very shortly afterwards for treatment.  Amazing that this masterpiece came from such extenuating circumstances.

When you as a Father has a schizophrenic son, This song becomes elevated on another level.  Watching the kid trying to make a place in the world is soul destroying.  They are gone but still he is trying to make a reason to live. They know they are fucked up!  But they cannot stop sapping the life out of the Family trying to support them.  "Hi REN" is a pure glimpse into the schizophrenic mind. It does not cover the devastation happening in unison with family.

Tim was an AMAZING guest! Please.. Please let me see him react to the tales of jenny and screech. I would eat up his reaction to the videography

Tim makes an excellent point. It’s almost as if there is no one genre, no one musical style big enough to contain Ren’s genius. He definitely does contain multitudes.

When he starts singing it always evokes Bob Marley's Redemption Song in my mind.

I love watching people meet Ren ❤ Thank you x

Ren refers to his genre as Bardcore and I couldnt think of a more perfect term. He enamors people with his singing, rapping, and storytelling. Absolutely amazing and super talented.

Ren is a genius

Hi Guys from England , I learnt today that including people watching reactors videos of 'Hi Ren ' there have been 1.5.Billion views !
Wtf !!....

❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing Ren.
😊😊😊
It is 64 million views now!!!
HYPED ❤
Great guest. Hope you have Tim back. Will check out his channel. 😊
They got kicked out of the space and Ren begged for them to have 30 extra minutes.
They only got 4 full run-throughs done & he had to fly to Canada for treatments so could not arrange another shoot.
He thought they failed, but in editing he realized #4 was great for full sound recording and they pieced together the live video from that one with a couple shots from the others. 😊😊😊
Flares were natural and encouraged by Rens best buddy Samuel who is a really great cinematographer. They discussed how happy they were with them.

They used the space another time for the Sick Boi video but did have permission that time.😂

Love how the guest clocked REN’s intentionality; he’s known for being intentional where he’s aware of his own intentions

Two cams, plus hand held AND he then looks at the camera for the first time. Also, lighting cues, as well between good and evil. One TAKE.

This is only the opening to the rabbit hole, your mind will be blown!!

Loved the funk comment. Love it when techno does the same, takes it away, then gives it back like the return of a lost love. Makes it so much more powerful.

The police were call to make them leave because of trespassing. But they must have loved the music because they said "We are give you 45 minutes to finish up."

Best reaction.. terribly insightful, analytical... provides such an amazing perspective.. hoping he reacts to more videos

Tim is a great guest, very invested. Looking forward to the next one!

What an absolute beautiful perspective of this song. I've never heard it put like Tim put it. I have watched hundreds of Hi Ren reactions, bc to me, it truly is a work of art. Transcends the music, the music is the background noise to what he is trying to say. I liked, subscribed,, AND hyped! I only had one left.....worth it. Much Love dudes!

The more the light shines the deeper the shadow it casts.  The lighting is 100% purposeful and we only realy see the shadows at the beginning and the end.
