REN – The Tale of Jenny & Screech 😳 | FIRST TIME Reaction w/ Katie

Watch Stuff With Us

The Ren rabbit hole continues — and this time I brought Katie with me. 😂🐇

After my first-ever Ren reaction to “Hi Ren,” the Renegades showed up in FORCE and made it very clear where this journey needed to go next:

The Tale of Jenny & Screech.

There's just one problem…

I brought Katie along for this one, and she has NO IDEA what she's getting into. 😂

We're experiencing Jenny & Screech for the first time, completely blind. No spoilers. No research. Just two people trying to keep up with Ren's storytelling.

RENEGADES: When we're finished with Jenny & Screech… where does the rabbit hole take us NEXT?

Already subbed; like button clicked! I don't know if anyone mentioned it but both "Hi Ren" and "Jenny and Screech" were shot live, in one takes. I love your reactions!!! For a different Ren sound, you could react to "Power." (Ren - Power (Official Music Video) Ren's catalog is so vast. We RENegades want you to hear everything! His originals are stunning, his colabs are fantastic, his band, The Big Push" is incredible. You are in for such a fun, long, discovery journey.

"Hunger" is a perfect song to learn about Rens rap skills, Enjoy the ride friends.

Ren”s creative team… is Ren and his friends.. he is completely independent.. and these videos were basically well done home movies 😊… these were done on tiny to no budgets.. he has bigger budgets now, but his creative team is still him and mostly his friends 😊… great reaction, by the way 😊

It's an important lesson that good work doesn't necessarily mean good feelings. Great video!

Totally understand your point about playing RENs music in a car but you’ll soon realise that you have only just started this journey so you don’t have the pleasure of knowing his back catalogue yet. The tales are different and should be reacted to differently. So happy knowing what’s in your future experience . We’re with you both.

Fire in the Booth! I thought of this when you said how much like Marvel characters, and that you need to hear something upbeat from Ren now.

its been said before but no matter which way you go to listen to your next Ren piece it will become your favourite.

Ren does have happier songs too: Back on 74/Message in a Bottle & Losing It. As you're discovering Ren's storytelling skills are on a different level. Thanks to you both & see you on the next one.

Not surprised you dove head first into the "Tales" after Hi Ren. That was my journey as well.
Yes, the subject matter can be dark at times, but the journey is so worth it.
If ever you need a palate cleanser to lift the mood, i recommend literally anything from his band, The Big Push.
JD, I think you'll also really love the project he just did with Chris Webby, called Asylum. Together, they go by Inpatient.
Money Game Trilogy is a must!
Also, check out Sick Boi, Losing It, and his episode of Fire In The Booth if you just want to see him Flex his rap skills.
Buckle up, you two. There's life before Ren and then there's life after Ren. I'm so excited for you to experience the Tales.

In case it hasn't been mentioned, and because you brought up the jackets - he wore the red jacket for Jenny's Tale, and the blue one for Screech's Tale - red and blue together make Violet.

The man is a genius.

Best part of Ren, you'll NEVER know what to expect!

Check out "back on 74" you get some singing from him. Or the "big push, I shot the sheriff" (the one where he is wearing red suspenders.) Or "losing it" Yall will enjoy them. Plus about 50 more

24:42 These are screenplays not a 3 minute song for the playlist in the car - he’s got plenty of bangers like that too, but his screenplays are for experiencing…like a good movie. You watch them once in a while but not every day.

Something lighter - Back On 74/Message In A Bottle - another live performance (it’s a short one 😂)

I’ve been checking for your next reaction since your Hi Ren!! Ren is going to take you on such a ride. There are twists, turns, loops, the lot, so buckle up!

The variety is endless so take a little break from the Tales for a quick pallette cleanse. Maybe Power, Back on 74, Bitter Sweet Symphony (live version is extra special). Then make your way back to Vincent’s Tales!

Love your reaction and so glad your wife is with you for this one! ❤
