Kept you waiting, huh? I decided to sin the remake, Metal Gear Solid - The Twin Snakes instead of the original because the new content just added to the sin count. Who doesn't want to make fun of Solid Snake for jumping off missiles?

Whoa whoa whoa

Dartigan, Sin 48 is COMPLETELY untrue, Ravens live in alaska Year round. Including places much further north than the archipeligos on the S/SW part of Alaska. They can withstand the cold.

Source: I live in Alaska

When Baker forgot, I initially thought Snake was having a seizure

@jaytd9393 7 years ago

Aw, no clip of Ocelot fumbling around with his revolver during the interrogation part.

"It's all made from currently existing technology."
"Isn't everything?"

Who's gonna tell him about MGSV

@Nova-sama420 7 years ago

Snake could have a large place in Meryl's heart due to his reputation and being one of her heroes while she was training to be a soldier. When she first speaks to him she says "Could you be Snake? Are you Solid Snake?! The legendary Solid Snake....you?!"
She's been aware of him her whole life.

Late Additional Sin: The FoxDie Virus killing Liquid doesn't mean anything for Snake. Both of them might be brothers cloned from Big Boss but their Genes are totally different. As stated one has Big Boss' Recessive Genes and the other has the Dominant ones. That means they are more like half-brothers as they only share their egg donor's complete genetic code.
Not only that but do to them living different lives in different environments they'd also have minor mutations to differentiate themselves even further.

FYI. There’s a Codec that explains how Liquid got away from the crashing Hind D.

In face.d there’s a little known Easter egg that shortly after that scene, I forget the area but at the top of the screen you see a deployed parachute on the ground.

I think Sons of Liberty should be in your cross-hairs, my friend.

"objects fall at the same rate" yeah in a vacuum, not in a evaluator shaft, that is full of Air. So Air resistance is a factor. You would hit the elevator well before the casings land

Did you just quote Metal Gear Awesome?

@BeefyBoy8501 7 years ago

Think i didnt catch that Metal Gear Awesome reference when Ocelot lost his hand, but i did. And i 100% approve

@RealDJStew724 6 years ago

23:58 Liquid and Ocelot do know that snake is listening in - in the ps1 version they see him on the surveillance monitor, so their dialogue could just be them trying to give snake more reason to act quickly. OR they are so confident that their use of snake as a pawn is going to work

Meryl is EIGHTEEN in this game??
They sent an 18 year old female rookie (who never killed anyone) into a place where supersoldier-terrorists stole a nuclear superweapon?

I forgot why they sent Meryl, but I don't think it was a very good justification.

Actually... pulling the pin doesn't actually trigger the timer. It's letting go of the trigger post pin pull - but Snake just casually bounces it so yeah - it still is wrong either way.

I see there were no sins for the Metal Gear exposition method.
The Metal Gear exposition method?
Yes, the Metal Gear exposition method, where you interrupt to repeat a key phrase as a question before the exposition resumes by repeating that key phrase.

@mrsoldier47 7 years ago

Im gonna need the entire metal series back to back now

@neverm0re-1994 7 years ago (edited)

He emulated it lols. I can tell by the blue codec background.

I really loved the way MGS1 tried to incorporate the PS1 hardware into its gameplay. Especially the Psycho Mantis stuff about reading your memory card and making your controller vibrate with his mind. I wonder if in the distant future, someone will do something similar with whatever features that are built into the PS5.
