I've used a lot of resin printers, and I've printed thousands of miniatures. This printer is without question the most easily accessible and user friendly printer I've ever used. It's essentially plug and play and significantly reduces the learning curve for people just starting out. I also think they offer the most durable resin out there for tabletop miniatures. This is an easy recommend for any tabletop gamer or miniature painter.

Those close up shots bending the skeleton around really brought home how far the state of the art has come-- models that detailed and flexible were the stuff of dreams for home printing even just a few years back.

Really appreciate the exploration of this and I can only imagine how you can use this tool to enhance future epic projects!

6-7 years ago when I was printing minis, we mixed-in flexible resin with normal resin to get the right flex-to-cost relationship.

3D printing might seem like it has reached it’s peak, but there is so much development on the resin side.

I'd recommend raising the plate, and then scraping models off the build plate onto a catch tray. I haven't removed the build plate from my printer in months. It's less muss and less fuss, and you don't have to worry about the resin on top of the plate.

I too jumped on board and got the RS Turbo! Back story, I own a phrozen transform big size printer and I’m blown away by the ease and reliability of printing. On my first week and I’ve never been happier to print resin again.

Also don’t forget HG now has the option to use other resins under open model settings and dial in your preferred economical resin you like. I’m still amazed by the quality print as well.

Dude, thanks for that resin suggestion. I am definitely going to investigate it. I have recently switched to TGM 7 for similar durability and will be comparing the two now. And that entire ecosystem looks real damn nice. I've seen pieces of it in other places but not one unified environment like that. If I had $1600 to spare I would absolutely replicate that.

Is that flexible resin easy to sand without creating burrs? That's usually the issue with flexible materials, so that might be something to consider if surface finish is important to you.
It could make it more of a pain to fill/sand support marks if you have to very gently sand it with 1200-grit sandpaper like with soft resins and plastics.
