Guo Yun Sheng was my grand grand father in martial arts. My master was Chan Kowk Way, who's in turn was a student of Yang Sheung Mo, one of Guo's top students. Hw was one of the five Guandong Tigers.

Xingyiquan favorite art form

The version I heard about GUO meeting Dong was that he was on the way to meet Dong and he stopped off at CHENG's house CHENG was one of Dong's top students known for creating the CHENG style of BAGUA when Guo told CHENG that he was on his way to challenge DONG CHENG Tried to talk him out of it telling him it was a very bad idea he would be beaten and he would lose his reputation This infuriated Guo who attacked CHENG but CHENG being BAGUA master was so evasive and quick the GUO's strike Missed and struck the door frame at CHENG's house the wood door frame sustained damage which is still visible to this day the bout continued with Guo unable to Land any blows He came to realize that if this was the student he would Not do any better against the master That is when CHENG and Guo made a pact to always teach a portion of each other's style at their respective schools

He is really a professional in Chinese Kung Fu studies

what about doing a video about Master "Wang Xiangzhai". the master who introduced the martial art known "Yi Quan"
one of notable student of master "Guo Yunshen"....

Excellent summation. 😊

My favorite Chinese master is Yin Fu. Could you please do a more comprehensive video on his life and legacy. Thank you.

Bless you

Great history lesson, thank you, though I found the dramatic music distracting.

You should have mentioned  his greatest disciple,  Wang Sheng Chai, who developed and founded Yi chuan.  He took it to the next level.

As a Hung Ga practitioner I'd like to see a vid about the great grand master Lam Sai Wing

I'm beginning to enjoy this channel which at first would teach me Chinese. Anyway 多谢. I subscribe.

Please keep creating these excellent videos on Chinese martial arts. It would be nice to cover Hong Xiguan said to be the creator of Hong Jia Quan!

Brilliant  ! ❤

Ooooooooh thank you, finally!!!

I love all your content can you talk about Baji quan or 7 star praying mantis please thank you so very much

Guo Yunshen is perhaps a descendant of Cao Caos general Guo Jia. Cao Cao thought highly of him & regarded him as brilliant. Would be cool if they were related

Thanks Sifu 💕😬
