This is an excellent theory.  There is only one problem: as a child of the 70’s, I don’t want Hal to die…  :)

Cheers,

4:58 My guess is that the 2-story house was the actual house that Hal moved in after being released from prison. Only after it got burned down that Hal moved to the old smaller house, which he rented, as Kerry mentioned to John after the two of them met at the football field to check on Hal's body. And 6:33, I'm assuming he's looking at and referring to either Noah or Billy; if not, his supposed clone.

John gets burnt in the fire. Kerry heals him in the manhunter machine. Hal asks Kerry what are you. Hal is suspicious statts investigating. Figures out Noah is a manhunt or something sinister. Kerry kills Hal to protect Noah.

Hal didn't contact john. He didn't even know John would be there.

I assume its fire > healed by Noah > Kerry kills him to protect Noah. I don't get why Noah would kill Hal if he was the one to heal him from the fire, unless it was to try and blackmail him. But if Kerry killed him, I don't get why she'd call John. Unless Hal wanted to die and told her to call him? But then why say "dont tell anyone you were here?"

Exactly. That was my assumption as well. But I would add something: after Hal was cured, he stole the portal, possibly from that facility. So, whoever cured him is also connected to Sinestro and Antaan's home planet. Perhaps that was part of the reason for Hal's death.

Okay plot detective, how did Earl live for 10 years without being fed?

Sinestro can give a dead body synapsis and sentience... My guess is he was Hal's ace up the sleeve if sinestro and John use their respective ring abilities to bring Hal back long enough to use the machine to restore Hal

Jon is going to get clues or information from Earl when the ring is on.

The question Hal asks "what are you" may mean Hal is not sure whether who is asking is a human or a creature, that is my take way secondly: I don't think Hal is dead if he is really dead why his body stayed seated after the bullet? can any one answer me please.

Noah is probably just a regular kid who was taught to use Zoe's tech ala Howard Stark videos to continue the work which is why they all love him. Hal is not dead but in the wind to become next season's mystery. That body was made to look like Hal, either by machine, is Lianna or an alien we previosuly saw but didn't notice shape shifted, etc. That "14 aliens species who could go undetected" line was not just to set up Antaan and Zoey's stories. RIP whoever tf that is lol

Really good video and good points of view. I agree with you that all we're saying is what happened to him before he died. But I think that he also uncovered something other than\n The creature or adient that he knows it's not human, and why he puts sinners there on the that dead planet may have something to do with the guardians.  And what  originally discovered or something that's an Senestro told him.

Thank you for this. It's the first really COHERENT explanation for all those miscellaneous fragments. It makes perfect sense to me -- and it's suitably ironic -- that the kindness that led Noah to fix Hal after the fire would ultimately resurrect (see what I did there?) the last bits of Zoe's legacy, in the presence of the one guy who could never let it go. F*(k HBO for doing this to me for weeks, but it was very clever. Now I can hardly wait to see if you're right.

I wouldn't rule out John's mother just yet. She might have started the fire to make Hal go through what her son went through. And she could have killed Hal, since they were talking while he was in prison and she might have deceived him with a fake friendship. Then Noah heals Hal in the machine. But I hope I'm wrong, because I want the real Hal to stay in the series.

His ring is going to resurrect him just like in Geoff Johns' run. It would be pretty stupid NOT to do the Johns run

what if they resurrect his body, and use the copy of his consciousness- sentry Hal- to resurrect him?

And, IMDB has season 2, episode 1, with chandler as Hal Jordan in the cast…

Except you’re forgetting something…
We’ve already seen that man hunter technology clone the same cow over and over and over again after it’s chopped/lasered to absolute pieces.

It’s already canon that machine can clone, and all it would need is a piece of Hal to do it 🤷🏻‍♂️

maybe hal figured out that her son was/is a manhunter baby and she killed him???

Kyle chandler should have got his green lantern trilogy years ago. He's perfect as hal

This show has repeatedly shown that the most obvious answer is the correct answer and any nuance is fan fiction (see: Zoe is the Manhunter, which many viewers saw a mile away). Hal likely died from the house fire or was badly injured, then he gets rescued & healed/cloned by Noah. Thus, it's Noah Hal is asking what he is because he wasn't hurt by the fire. Noah not making plans for college and the town relying upon him for a semblance of hope means he has taken Zoe's place. Hal trapped Sinestro after finding a place for himself in Rustville because he got cold feet towards whatever plan they hatched in 2016. Hal didn't clone himself because he would have no way of accessing the hidden Manhunter tech.

The show made it obvious Noah was Zoe's predecessor by what she said to him and the fact that his name is Noah. As in the biblical figure who built an ark to save those worthy of God's new world post-flood. Noah might either be the architect of the Manhunter's return OR the ark itself. When Zoe heals people she also puts her techno-infuses blood into the people she helps. She did this to John. We can assume the same thing happened to Kerry when she got a new finger. This blood likely led to Noah's birth as a contingency or means to bring the Manhunters back from extinction.

We'll get some answers in the finale but it'll be left open with a huge mess that sets the stage for season 2.
