I just noticed something really cool about the actor that plays John Stewart. They hired an actor to play John Stewart who naturally has green-ish colored eyes, which is cool because John Stewart in the comics and cartoons, his eyes change to the color green when he puts on his Green Lantern suit.

Kerry killing Hal to protect Noah was my exact thinking. We’ll see if it plays out that way, though

The ball was a metaphor for suicide.  The dad told him to kill himself when he cant hide the paim anymore. But Hal refuses to let go of life

My new Lanterns theory: I think when Sheriff Kerry was in labor with Noah, she either almost died or did die from childbirth complications. Noah survived, but Zoe knew Kerry wanted a full life with her son and (then) husband. So Zoe made Kerry into a human/Manhunter hybrid or transferred Kerry’s memories into a new human-looking Manhunter body. That is the “miracle” Kerry tells Hal Zoe gave her in Episode 5.

Same episode, Grandma Zoe makes Noah keep a promise. It wasn’t just grandma advice. It was to keep his mother safe no matter what, because Kerry is the leftover Manhunter: a hybrid, or Kerry’s memories in a Manhunter body. That’s why at the hat ceremony Noah doesn’t make a choice. He wants to see how John’s investigation plays out before he locks anything in.

That’s also why we see John and Kerry at the football game, Kerry out of uniform, watching Noah play. John has pieced it together by then. He doesn’t pin it on Noah. He confronts Kerry and tells her he knows she is the Manhunter, or the hybrid. Kerry is in shock and doesn’t believe him. She still thinks she’s just Kerry. That stunned look is what they’re using in the Episode 8 teaser.

And it isn’t only Kerry. Episode 5 treats Zoe’s diner deal with Kerry as the same contract she made with the whole town: she saves you, rebuilds you, and you protect her. Ten years later Rushville is still covering, still afraid of Lanterns, still living off that miracle. They know there is a secret Manhunter left (Sheriff Kerry) and they would rather keep the lie than burn the town again.

John finds that out and does not hand her over to the Corps. He keeps the secret. That’s why Guy Gardner tells him they’re going to send an army after him.

That shared fear is what the finale is pointing at with Sinestro. Willpower already failed in Rushville. The town chose fear over the truth, and that fear is what feeds the start of the Sinestro Corps. Guy brings the green army. Sinestro offers the other color. John has to decide whether to turn Kerry in or become the reason fear wins on Earth.

I'd be so bold to guess how it went down.

Noah is a Manhunter. Hal was attacked in his home and allowed to burn so then Noah can save him and make a new body. Having Hal promise to not say anything about his plans, which could involve "a long game" on how he will "heal" earth.

Hal can't let it ago and mentions it to Kerry of what Noah is. But she already knows. Kills Hal to protect her miracle. Moves the body to the stadium to set the scene "it could be anyone".

Just a guess though.

This is exactly what I've been saying. People never make the connection about the fire.

I think the key to guessing the outcome is to think of what propels the story, and to me, that is "how does the student learn to respect the teacher?".

Noah's theory makes sense, and honestly it is the most plausible one considering what the show is telling us - The Rushvile revolves around Noah in episode 7, let that sink in! Manhunter ALERT!

So what happens when it’s finally revealed Kerry killed Hal? What’s her consequence. If Hal gets brought back, how does he react to this?

Yup. Agree with you on this. I'd add that Kerry probably begged for Hal to leave, and he refused. Just like she did to prevent the Ep 5 events, when he also refused. Just like he didn't let go of the baseball. And this time, he wouldn't let go either... also because it would be letting go of the love he had finally found. He'd rather have that love kill him... and maybe hoped till his last second that she wouldn't.

Hal didn't come back to Rushville because he's in love with Kerry or because he wanted to mow people's lawns. He knew something was wrong and was investigating it

Hal is the only person in this series who dresses like the unseen person standing over him. Maybe that’s why he has questions? Maybe the clone don’t know he’s the clone. Can’t wait to see if I’m right😀

Lanterns Season One Mysteries That Don't Appear Load-Bearing But Really Are:
Here are the Two Questions no one has been asking.
1. How did Antaan and his crew get to Earth? Did they fly to Earth? Did they teleport? They said they traced Zoe the Manhunter's radiation to Earth. When Antaan's crew were all eliminated, did Hal grab their mode of interstellar travel?
2. How did Hal get a pair of portals? Did Hal grab the portals from the slaughterhouse and from the other side of the ranch? Easy to open and go through; figure out where to drive to, walk back, and then take both down.

There's a link between the two points. If Hal had both portals in 2016, he could have carried one portal with him and placed the other portal in his mansion. Whenever he ran low on charge, he could drop a portal in a pinch, jump through, find his lantern, recharge, and be back in action.
But Hal never said he saw a portal like that or had one when they visited the slaughterhouse. Halogram (2006) reoriented the portal from horizontal to vertical because...

Wait, but if Hal's house burned down before he died, how is the house intact when John stays in It?

Theory: Hal realized Noah is a manhunter when Noah healed him from the fire. That led to his death.

Then in the commercial time watching this youtube episode the trailer for "Other Mommy" pops on! Uncanny!

I agree with you, Hal's reason of death, might be not only because of what he knew. But he wouldn't go of that probably Noah manhunter hybrid did & who he is. May be Noah is genuinely good, but still what worries me what Zoey told him to remember what she told him. I'm also curious to see, how Senestro will fit into all of this, as he is stranded on another planet, Anton's home, with a tool of fear he alway wanted to weaponize, what he knows, & the way to bring Hal back. & to see how he'll get inside John's head & what he & Hal-ogram will learn that cause to say to John he's taking a very big risk, with Guy telling him all the corps or army will come after him looking angry.

Could Kerry have Killed Hal to save Noah's truth? Remember she viewed Noah as a miracle. A mothers love is strong. Hence, her shock to still see Hal Jordan alive. The hologram sees her guilt - so she did something or knows something...damn, someone save my mind.

Noah might not be a manhunter. He might just be human who was raised since childhood to be a manhunter just like how John was raised by his parents to be a lantern. He might not be a bad guy

Great video. Thanks! Is it possible Noah saved Hal just because Zoe told him about the tech, but he isn't a manhunter? That hasn't been discussed. And then maybe Hal's murderer has nothing to do with Noah or Kerry... That said, Zoe standing over him with the gun in the hotel could have been foreshadowing for his ultimate demise. hmmm. so many questions
